Hidden Canyon Retreat

Tranquil place in the nature.

Setting was wonderful! Greeted by deer and wild turkeys! Clean rooms and excellent service! Thank you to the hosts!

The resort is very isolated and unique. We loved the peace and quiet. Seeing deer outside the rooms every day made me smile. The stars are amazing and the resort has rules to allow everyone to enjoy the dark sky at night.

Quiet, well furnished, def a retreat

At the end of an unsaved road near Baker Nevada I was not expecting such a gem. What a wonderful resort it is; quiet, manicured. and modern. The rooms are well finished, large and have everything you might need. Deer and turkeys rested on the lawn while we were there. The bed was nice and it was quiet: I slept better than any hotel I've ever stayed at. Stay here! You will love it too.

Quiet, relaxing retreat in middle-of-nowhere site near Great Basin National Park.

Amazing property! Wish we had time to stay more nights! Got to see various animals (deer, rabbits, turkeys) up close, and even saw the Milky Way in the dark night sky :D We felt so well taken care of here!

Very nice facilities! Quiet and secluded with wildlife and dark skies for stargazing. Well-maintained dirt road to facilities. Small market supplies breakfast and dinner items.

Went out of their way to return something that we left behind. Much appreciated. Quiet and quaint.

it is a great little out of the way stay

This is a hidden gem. Beautiful location, nice room. Butterflies and deer. While we didn’t use the pool, it looked great, quite big. The grocery store is well stocked, we didn’t miss not having a restaurant close by. We will definitely tell our friends about this little gem.

Wonderful place. Beautiful room with couch to watch tv and kitchen. Staff was amazing at sending info prior to my visit regarding services and directions. Check in very nice and informative. Tokens for food at store a really a nice touch. Beautiful grounds!! Only complaint was when I arrived I opened the blinds to view the beautiful yard and the window was so dirty I could not even see through it. I tried to clean it with paper towels but it would not come clean. It was water stains from sprinklers. I mentioned it to the maid and she had it clean when we returned that afternoon. I appreciate that but couldn’t believe that they would allow us to check in to a room and this be our first impression. Everything else was wonderful! Deer and turkeys running around.

Remote, serene location. Clean. Comfortable beds. Dark sky for star gazing. Store that sold food items and conveniences which was helpful considering remote location. Coffee provided. Good selection of dishes, pans, utensils for meal prep. Beautiful canyon setting.

We loved that this place was hidden in the canyon, amongst the wildlife. We saw five wild turkeys, and a dear family right outside our room. We enjoyed ping-pong in the communal room. We appreciated that they had a store on site, since there are not a lot of food options in the local area.

This property exceeded my expectations. The area was beautiful and in the “store” they had many vegan dining options. The room was clean and very comfortable. It had a retreat like atmosphere and is designated as a Dark Sky Place. This property seemed new and everything was updated and in good condition.

Very isolated, though they warn you of this. Pretty area. Good place if you wamt to go to Great Basin NP.
