Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak

the hotel staff and room was great but when I wanted to use the exercise facility the lady was rude didn't want to allow me to use it because I didn't have the proper shoes and when i was leaving the hotel staff told me to have her call them and they would come pick me up and give me a ride back to the hotel she said she could call but did not want to stating the are to busy and will not come get me I informed her they specifically told me to have her call and they would come get me she did not want to call for a ride for also she said I needed to wait outside when the hotel host told me i could wait inside and they come in and let me know when they arrived to pick me up she was very rude about me trying to use her exercise room

I rated the hotel lower as the property has a massive rehab going on which limits parking and lot of areas are blocked by fences and materials. Hotel.com accommodations provided breakfast but found out after arriving it’s 65 dollar a day for two people which sounded reasonable for breakfast and was informed it was not a buffet but a restaurant. With the remodel they use a restaurant that is located at the water park across the property and each menu item is 18-20 dollar for basic breakfast entrees, 7$ for a coffee, I was kind of shocked by the prices as the food was not anything more special then basic breakfast diner especially as they are marketed as a family hotel. I felt misled that breakfast was to be included with hotel stay and was not and had to contact hotel and hotel.com regarding this as it is not advertised properly. Room was large and bed was comfortable. Hotel and property is definitely due for a remodel as it does appear unkept. The water park is the best part of the property on a hot day. The hotel is also tucked away so there are limitations of restaurants off property without driving.

Terrible. Old, dirty. Do not recommend at all.

I liked the water patk pool atea but never got a chance to enjoy it because the hours were so limited

The property was very dirty and dated and the pictures were nothing like posted. 1/2 the property was under construction. The lazy river was a 1/4 mile from are room and was only open from 11-6. We left and did not stay at the property had to pay to stay someone else that way we could enjoy are weekend. We will never stay at a Hilton property we have not seen before.

Property was very run down . Lots of renovation while on my stay . Just was not the type of stay i was looking forward too. Not a 4star resort .

Well maintened except the room rugs are filthy and need to be taken up otherwise the room was beautiful.

This hotel was perfect for what we wanted. A nice big room with sitting area and a small balcony to sit on for morning coffee. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. While everything was clean, the carpet had stains in both the sitting and bed rooms. Our room faced the inner courtyard with the pool. There are many upkeep issues at the pool. I assume they will renovate this area after the big renovation they are doing on the south side of the resort. The attached water park is small, but probably perfect for families with kids. Not really a relaxing place for adults. The lazy river is overcrowded and not relaxing. The hotel pool is overrun with kids in the evening because the water park is only open until 6pm. It wasn’t too noisy in our room, but we could hear what was happening in the pool area. The hotel location is very good. Besides a view, it is very near a number of good restaurants and the Heard Museum. We were not charged the additional “resort” fee which I think was a wise choice by the administration because it doesn’t really feel like a resort at the moment.

Definitely needs an upgrade and repairs. Everything is old and run down. Teenagers at the pool are rude and don’t even allow outside snacks and food. Go figure they want you to Pay for their food and drinks at the pool, this is outrageous because some nachos and chips and chicken tenders was $34.99.

We enjoyed the River Ranch Resort. The pools were clean and the staff was very friendly.

Staff was very friendly and location was convenient. Rooms need a lot of attention, the couches and carpets were extremely dirty, there are no microwaves in rooms, the water park pools were not always clean.

front desk was really helpful and nice only negative i have would be that the lazy river and slide closes to early at 6pm and the ac was not working in the room so it was really hot !

It was so much fun!

I enjoyed our stay for the most part but the water park was not as nice as others I have stayed at. The lazy river seemed a little sluggish and didn’t move you that well. Not enough tubes the days we were there. Hotel room was average. They were working on updating things while we stayed in 2025, some of the hotel was closed for renovations.

Greg at front desk was very friendly and quick! We got to the property before check-in time and he got us right in. The housekeeping ladies were so fast and did a great job, in and out before we ever knew it! The waterpark was SO much fun! The waitress that worked at Slim Pickins bar was super awesum, my husband just bought a drink (not cheap!) and a random kid accidentally kicked it right into the pool the very second I sat it down (it was frozen so it didn’t leak out but it did however get totally full of chlorine water, was an accident tho, no biggie) and the waitress made a new one right away no hesitation even tho she was so busy running around everyone else’s orders!! The kindness and courtesy of all the staff is much appreciated, we will be back!!

Great experience and location

Over all my family had a great time , only problem was the pools were really packed! We could not enough River Walk.

Besides some of thr parking lot being blocked off in areas it was great, would recommend
