Holiday Inn Express & Suites LEANDER by IHG, an IHG Hotel

The first day we arrived the power was out until late in the night. No AC no electricity, no elevator. Many people went to another hotel. The second night was a rolling black out that didn’t happen during the scheduled hours but happened later so no elevator again for hours. I had a question about my bill and was told I would have to talk to the morning manager. She left him an email and said he would call me. No call came. When I called back in the morning and talked to the manager he was rude and when I mentioned the power outage he said it was beyond his control and his home had no power either during the power outage and he still needed to pay his mortgage. I never asked him to take away any of my bill. I don’t know what his home has to do with my bill discrepancies. It was not a good experience. My bill problem was that Expedia said I had paid a portion of my bill and the hotel said they never got a payment so he said I needed to deal with Expedia.

It was clean and comfortable. I liked the workout equipment.

Other than the previous guest leaving the alarm clock set to go off at 6am, it was a great stay!

Check-in and check-out clerks were very friendly and courteous.

Very nice pool, nicely located in the sun. Clear water, well mantained pool.

Not all of the wall outlets worked. One night the maid had not cleaned the room.

I have stayed here before and thought it was nice. This time I stayed 3 nights. The hotel rooms have really gone down. The shade on the window didn’t work well. The bathroom was not that clean. There was hair on the floor. (Not mine). When I got back in my room on Friday night there was alot of water spilled in front of the fridge. I don’t know why. Saturday night when I got to the room, it looked like someone was in my bed. I’m not sure what the maid did, but the sheets were all twisted up crazy with the comforter. After trying to fix it, I finally just took off the sheets and comforter and remade the bed the right way.

Great place to stay!

The hotel was very clean. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

The bathroom was old and needs cosmetic repair. Towels were stained. Otherwise the beds were clean and super comfortable. Staff was extremely nice and the rest of the building and property was well taken care of.

In room 211, there was a noise coming from the wall between the bedroom and bathroom. Maybe when the water was running in the room or neighboring rooms or roms above and below.

Good hotel within walking distance to Leander metro station. Very quiet. There is an HEB plus! nearby. Food and shopping options are generally limited though.

The stay wasgreat

Good hotel. Conveniently located to HEB, and some fast food and restaurants. Great to see the Leander area building up. Need hotel to get better wi-fi and ensure all of its outlets are operational. Also—lots of traffic here with construction and many hotel guest are working construction—-so hotel needs to keep common areas a bit more clean.
