Homewood Suites by Hilton New Braunfels

The staff was incredibly unhelpful, the bathroom floor was wet and had hair on it when we arrived, the room had high humidity and generally felt grimy.

Such a great hotel! It was absolutely perfect. We hung out at the pool one day (we did want for some shade out there tho). The room was fabulous. We walked to dinner which was amazing. Freiheit I think. (The old 2 story restaurant). Coffee @wickedvoodoo was so so delish 3 mornings in a row. We will def stay here again when we visit fam.

Everything was very clean, staff is fantastic, and extremely helpful and friendly.

Absolute nightmare. We arrived and were given the room key. When we opened the room there were suitcases in there and the bed was used. Went back downstairs to be told oh oops we don’t actually have a room for you. I asked for a solution, the gentleman at the reception tried to hand me a list with other Hilton properties in the area. I told him I’m calling Expedia and thankfully they were amazing and got me a room elsewhere quickly. While we were in the lobby (that was not air conditioned !!) we overheard several other incidents. One person had a clogged toilet and was told nobody can help them until the following day. Another lady had a dirty room and the AC wasn’t working - she was told she’d have to go find another hotel. We were so glad to get out of there. First bad experience with a Hilton hotel, ever.

Beautiful property the breakfast was great I’m always happy when I see Texas waffles but the attendant was so a weThe bed was so comfortable the ac was cold black out curtains let me sleep so well. It’s next to an amazing country venue

Price is high for this area though. Should be in the 99-105$ range $188 WAY to high for the area and the room.

Everything was great

This was the worst hotel that I have stayed at. Our room was dirty the entire time and the refrigerator never worked despite my request for them to address these issues. I feel like I should have received some kind of compensation for being completely and utterly disappointed and frustrated because it was a was a very steep price for what we receive. Just avoid!!!

We stayed at the property for four days. No fresh towels, no room cleaning. Even after request.

Disappointed there was no bar. Hotels.com said it had one.

There were two big flies in the hotel room. I told the front desk, but they said "ok" and did nothing, so I tried to catch them. It was the first time I've ever had flies in a hotel. And I don't like the attitude of the staff either. I don't want to use it again.I have all the photos of fly and the ones I took. Should I attach them?? And they said they would send me a receipt online, but that was a lie. Why didn't they send me the hotel receipt?

Room trigger allergy’s for both my wife and myself. Tried to move, but no other rooms like ours available. We turned off the air conditioner in bedroom and got some relief. They pretty much said that had we booked through them, they could have done something, but since room was paid for through Expedia, I couldn’t get a refund from hotel and check out. If I checked out I would have to try and get refund through Expedia, so we made the best of it.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was and it had a full kitchen. Very clean and comfortable. Great channel selection on TV.

Everything was clean and there was plenty of room. We enjoyed the evening snacks.

Wonderful

Good breakfast, clean hotel, many dining options nearby, room nice, pool & workout room nice, kitchen adequate…would stay again for sure. Some exterior renovation underway, which worried me at first, but crew only worked mid-day so no issues at all. Hotel is clean & area is very safe and quiet. TV location in room layout is my major complaint. Angled view from all locations is really poor ergonomics! Stiff neck now lol. Pool gate lock didn’t work all week for keyless entry, but staff responsive to open on request. Overall happy with the stay, but TV setup does need improvement.

New build, staff was friendly, everything was new and fresh. Downside with housekeeping on their scheduled day in that they failed to make the beds. Downside with bathroom design - why are showers designed with a showerhead installed for a 6’5” man. Women can’t reach the showerhead to adjust it!! Please add an extender!
