Hyatt House Tempe/Phoenix/University

Our se cond stay here and it did not disappoint. The reception staff remembeted us from our previous stay. Spotlessly clean ejverywhere, great location right near the transit centre. Futness room was very well equipped and spacious.

Nice place, good area, friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

A great hotel in an amazing location. Great hiking is 10-15 minutes away at Camelback, Piestewa Peak, Papago Park, and South Mountain. Lots of restaurants and a Trader Joe’s within a short walk. The parking is convenient, if a bit pricey. The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. The laundry room was convenient and easy to use. However, our stay was diminished due to a wrestling camp going on at ASU. There were dozens of unaccompanied minors running the halls and screaming until late at night. They pushed all the buttons on the elevators so nobody could get a lift. Instead of policing their guests, the hotel eventually shut down elevators, which made it worse. If the hotel is going to continue hosting these events, they need to do a much better job of policing their guests. I know this is likely a welcome event during their slow time of year but we paid for our room too.

Property is fairly new and in great shape. Mostly quite clean except for the air vents which seemed like they’ve never been cleaned. They gave me a room far from the train and I didn’t experience any noise, even with a hotel full of high schoolers housed there for a wrestling camp. Hotel staff is efficient and helpful but not really welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was varied and adequate but they ran out of meat or only provided paper plates/plastic utensils a few days when the hotel was at full capacity. Seating was surprisingly plentiful. I’d be happy to stay again because it was good value and I liked the large room layout, especially with a proper work chair. Great walkable location to lots of restaurants and a Trader Joe’s.

Great property. Walkable to Downtown Tempe, great access to the light rail, easy parking, short hike up Hayden Butte only a five minute walk away. Easy drive to multiple trailheads like Piestewa Peak, Camelback, and South Mountain. Trader Joe’s across the street. Just a great location. My biggest complaint is we stayed during a wrestling camp at ASU and the other guests (mostly high school kids) were screaming in the halls until 11pm every night and every time they got off an elevator, they pressed every button so nobody else could get one. The hotel started shutting down elevators which made it difficult for guests to get to/from rooms. The hotel needs to do a much better job policing its guests if it’s going to have that many unaccompanied minors staying at its property. We paid for our room too.

It was a nice hotel. Breakfast selection was good. Our room was clean and spacious for what we needed. Check in and check out process was quick and easy. Walkable to campus which I appreciated. Parking was plentiful.

It was clean and modern and the property put out a great breakfast. The property is close to restuarants and is easy to walk to most places.

Quiet, clean and overall great place to stay for summer labs at ASU

Great place with great staff. The only issue I had was that the thermostat did not go below 68 degrees, but I am from the White Mountains, so I probably just needed to adjust to the warmer weather of Tempe.

Great stay. Lovely view of the mountains. Rooftop pool. Clean staff was friendly i loved everything about it.

The staff was nice and courteous. The breakfast buffet was amazing with all the different options. My room was nice and clean. I loved the roof top bar and pool area and the drinks were really good

Pool very small and rooms in need of upgraded toilet paper.

Buy nicer toilet paper.

Clean, quiet, early check-in was available, lovely walkable surrounding area. My only issue was that the hours for the connected bars are not correct. The downstairs bar has no notice that they stop serving food past a certain point, and it was closed nights that online it said it should be open. It being closed some nights or not serving food before close is fine, I just wish the online hours you see when you scan the qr code in your room reflected these things. Food at the rooftop bar was delicious.

Staff was very nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Will be staying again.

Flop house for college students housing. Bathrooms filthy. Sub standard for your brand

Wonderful hotel. Shower was dripping on a metal pan most of the nights every few minutes. My wife didnt tell me until we were leaving.

Clean, safe, quiet. Enjoyed staying here.
