Lincoln Sands Oceanfront Resort, Ascend Hotel Collection

Nice place. We had oceanfront room with balcony and it was wonderful. Room looked like furniture was missing, but bed was clean and comfortable and staff was nice. Would come again.

Pros: big beautiful room, lovely giant windows with privacy curtains so you can always have the light if you want. Modern design and decor, with nods to an oceanic theme without being cheesy. Crazy rainfall shower and "wet" bathroom that was huge! Mattress itself was really comfortable once I got into it. Cons: I was in an ADA accessible room but the bed was so high I couldn't get into it .i had to go buy a step stool but , being disabled, I still couldn't get up into the bed without acrobatics and I ended up pulling a muscle.. which caused me to leave a day early. (No refund) The fridge is microscopic and shallow, designed for beverages only. If you intend on bringing your own food to microwave, or leftovers from a restaurant in a "to go" container...plan on playing Jenga with it and I ended up throwing a lot of my food away because it didn't fit. Huge bathroom - but no place to hang wet towels? No table in the room, so again, it seems like they are just discouraging eating in your room. Great for local restaurants - bad if you have food allergies like me and need my own food and a place to eat. (Or sit and write - something else I do when I go to the beach usually.) Teeny tiny garbage can that would fit maybe a 1 liter plastic bottle. The couch was absolutely NOT designed for comfort. Hard metals rails with sinking cushions meant painful sitting. The room had lots of hairs everywhere from previous occupant.

The breakfast was cold and not very good.

The property was just ok. We asked for an extra blanket for our kids, but never was attended to. It seemed like they didn’t have many people. They were nice and friendly, but we don’t think we will be staying again.

Needed a relaxing trip to recharge. An important part for me was the tub and it hit the spot. The bed was very comfortable.

Wonderful Stay at the Lincoln Sands! Our room was not ready when we checked in at 4:30pm. Instead of having to wait 10-15 minutes to check in, the staff moved us to a nicer room that was already cleaned. We were able to enjoy salmon chowder and cookies at 5pm and ate a delicious breakfast in the morning before a lovely walk on the beach directly from the property. Highly recommend!!

room was not ready upon check-in, was told wait about 30 minutes or so. we asked for a room credit, was told no since we booked third party (hotels.com) but after some chatting, they offered a different room with similar amenities

Absolutely amazing! Serves salmon chowder everynight at 5pm! Let me tell you, I'd come back to Oregon just for that! Great service. Great beach accsess. Beautiful rooms! Pool and hot tob was amazing! Got to each my dinner outside on their patio that has a fireplace! Wow! This place was great!

Nice pool. Nice hot tub. Nice sauna. Love the comfy bed.

Excellent location with a great view of the beach and ocean with convenient access to walk and play in the beach. One block walk to excellent dining. Room amenities seem to be recently updated in the suite. Love this hotel and will be back in the near future.

We’ve stayed here several times and always enjoy it. Unfortunately, our room smelled VERY strongly of pet urine. We were told the weekend was sold out for our stay so we didn’t feel we had any choice but to stay, so my husband went out and bought pet urine sanitizer for the carpets and a diffuser. After doing so, it was much better! Other than that, things were alright. I don’t think they actually lock the pool/hot tub after hours because there was a group that were very loud very early in the morning, but it wasn’t a make or break. We’d probably stay here again(this was our 4th time) but may seek other options first.
