Despite the many bad reviews of this hotel, I decided to book here as i was running out of time, and this hotel was the cheapest. Lobby was clean and refreshing, the young man that checked us in was full of Midwest hospitality, and the room was nice and warm when we walled in. BONUS, was there was a hot tub, and it was working so i got to enjoy that :-)

It is definitely a more modern hotel. Very sad the pool wasn’t open and we were not aware of it when booking. Staff was all very friendly being they were busy because of Oktoberfest.

You need to fix the door lock on room 314. Only one of my 2 keys would open the door. It is a nice to place to stay. The breakfast could be a little better.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times since 2011. I come almost every year to visit family. The upgrades in the rooms is wonderful it looks very nice. The facility itself was dirty. Lots of trash outside. People loitering by the entry way smoking and drinking. It was a little unsettling to walk through these people to get inside to access our room.

The staff was nice but the furnishings in the room were not upgraded, the floor and tub was dirty.
Doors and walls were very thin.
During the night of our stay, someone continued to prop open the side door which would have allowed anyone to walk in. Despite us closing it, it stayed open. This is a huge safety issue for me.

Property was convenient to everything in New Ulm but no bathroom was very outdated and there was very strong cleaning smell as off trying to cover up odors. Also, there was no drinking water to be found, including vending, in the entire building except for tapwater. Breakfast sausage, “eggs” were frozen and needed to be microwaved

Coffee maker leaked all over the table. Family with kids on the floor were crying and yelling at midnight. Had to leave the tv on to sleep. Maid service was very nice. Bed was comfortable and the room seemed clean.

The hotel was convenient. The rooms were very small and throughout our stay, the hallway on the third floor getting off of the elevator had a very strong odor of cigarette smoke. The pool area's floor was dirty with noticeable debris on the floor, hot tub had a yellowish colored water, the vents above the pool were all black that extended to the ceiling around the vents. At 9:00 AM, there was very little continental breakfast items available and the counters were filthy with spilled cereals and other food and liquid.- no one around cleaning up or refilling empty items. I'd sleep in my vehicle before staying at this hotel again.

Shower in the swimming pool room was unavailable with junk on the floor of the shower. Should be properly marked with signage indicating that it is under repair.

Hard water stains in the tub. The room wouldn't cool down. We were all too warm all night. Very noisy. We could here everything in the adjacent rooms. Smelled like pot. Other guests knocking on doors all hours of the night, listening to music, etc. The pool was closed and the whole reason we chose this one was because it said it ha da pool. Breakfast was minimal - no fruit, no pastries really. Just cold cereal or wait in line for a waffle or toast. Too pricy for this level of disappointment.

There is a rattle in the showers wall. I reported it. Kept me up first night. It’s in shower wall. Second night we turned a sound machine on and bathroom fan to drown it out. Nice plug ins for work. Thank you.
