just not a clean place. My daughter has asthma and had an asthma attack during the night…I went into the bathroom and there’s mold growing on the wall. The door didn’t work…had to almost kick it in the open. It was all warped from being exposed to the elements and NO upkeep. It felt dirty and old…needs an update for sure. The AC unit did not work and they knew about it and did not let us know BEFORE we got the room. The beds are tiny. It was not worth the money.

Having stayed at this property many times over the past several years, but then with a hiatus, it was surprising but then not how this hotel now shows its age. Primarily, there is an 'aged-odor,' like the paint, carpets, and woodwork (wardrobes in-room, banister, trimwork, etc.). However, the meeting area, and diningroom were clean and tidy; the desk-service great. The nicest part for me, also 'older,' is the AUTOMATIC ENTRY-DOOR at front entrance, ALWAYS a plus when going in and out with handsful of luggage and personal belongings, and due to windy weather!

This establishment was pretty average, at best. Expedia advertised it as pet friendly and even allowed us to reserve a room with queen size beds. We had 4 adults and needed good rest from traveling. When we walked in with our dog, the manager (Genevive) barked at us and made my husband and dog wait outside in the 20 degree weather until we got checked in. Then, she down-graded us to full sized beds—their pet friendly room, but wouldn’t reimburse us the difference because we had paid through Expedia. Horrible customer service, and super unfriendly. The smaller beds disrupted our sleep. Had I been given correct information to begin with, I wouldn’t have stayed here. I don’t know if that’s on Expedia, or if it’s the hotel’s fault. Left a bad taste in my mouth, and all of us grumpy for lack of a good night’s sleep.

There was nobody ever at the front desk when needed! It took me 30 mins to find someone to check in. And then another 20 mins to find someone to check out. Then our key cards didn’t work through the whole stay.

It was fine but we booked the hotel based on the fact that they had a hot tub and a pool. When we arrived, we were told the pool area was closed for renovations. Wish that we knew that before we booked.

The entire reason I booked this hotel was so my kids could enjoy the pool. When we arrived, we were told the pool was out of order and had been for several months. Had we known the pool was out of order before booking, we would not have booked at this hotel.

Checkin was extremely lengthy and the girl did not know what was going on. She took nearly 30 minutes to check us in with a paid for room. Kept saying it won’t work and asked for additional credit cards. Horrible experience and would choose to not experience it again.

Outside especially around the rooms with outside doors look damaged. Our sink did not have a drain stopper and the bathtub was very slick and was glad there was a handle to hold on to when getting out of the tub after a shower.
