I had a good stay overall. Minus the WiFi not working so the tv wouldn’t work without WiFi.

it was great for the price. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was clean just not super well kept, there was scotch tape on one of our walls? The bathroom wasn’t the greatest either, the shower curtain didn’t fit the size of the tub and the water drained very slowly. It looks like there could be some potential sketchy activity around the outside of the hotel but it was honestly fine. Close to a few food places & close to the city so it was good for a weekend! Would come back if we’re looking for a cheaper option when we go to charlotte for a few nights!

Would have liked a continental breakfast. The last stay I had at a Red Roof it had a great one,

We checked in , went to our room.
The room was very hot and stuffy.
We waited for an hour after adjusting the thermostat to 72°F.
We turned on tge TV and we didn't have a internet connection or TV channels. We had to use our own streaming service from our account at our home to watch tv in our room.
We were still hot and uncomfortable in our room.
We called front desk for assistance with the AC. A gentleman from the front desk came to our room to reset the AC. We waited another 30 minutes for the temperature to get cooler, never happened...
We were transfered to another room per my request, the handicapped room was cool and the AC worked.
The TV did not work in our new room and we had to sign in to our home streaming service to watch the TV.
Also, very limited front desk personnel, we were stuck in the entrance vestibule waiting to be buzzed in to lobby.
I will never stay there again..

As many have said, its a great place to lay your head. We were only there for one night because of a sold out show at the Fillmore. Staff was above average. We wished upon arrival that the pool was open but by the look of it we were better off.

This place needs to be closed down immediately, expeditiously. Staff! a zero… room a zero. There’s no need for me to go into details. Stay away from this place! I’m going to need some of my money back!
