Parking was a bit frustrating, I could not find my parking paper and had to pay 46.00 for one night stay.

This is awesome. I will love to come again. Also, i will recommend ppl to this hotel.

I checked into this hotel this morning. I have no complaints about the customer service, but I had reserved a non-smoking room and the room that was selected for us had a very strong smoke smell which was not what I was looking for.

It was so close to transportation it was my main consideration.

The rooms were hot and stuffy despite turning the AC on high. Staff weren't helpful either.

The hallways smelt like cigarette smoke. My bed only had two thin sheets on it, I asked the front desk 3 times for another sheet and I never got one.

Check-in was seamless. The front desk agent was very nice and helpful. A few amenities were missing from my room (hangers, wash cloths, and the bag for the ice bucket, but the staff promptly provided them. There's a laundry room for guests to use on the 3rd floor. It's hotter than a sauna, but I'm grateful for it! The hotel is beautiful and safe, with elevator access key cards. The Medallion restaurant, which is on-site, was great. Try the steak sandwich or the Grilled Sea Bass. A complimentary shuttle picks up from Newark Penn Station, and it takes guests around the corner to the Tryp hotel, where there's a breakfast buffet. I love it here!

We stayed at Robert Treat for one night to see a show at NJPAC. It was literally across the street and very convenient. We drove in from Maryland and arrived early enough to find parking on site ($23). Like many other reviews, the room smelled like cigarette smoke, there was no a/c, no coffee maker, no cups, just a bucket for ice. The bathroom is outdated and the wallpaper is ugly. The beds were comfortable enough for one night. I would not stay here again.

This hotel is by far the worst hotel ever in my experience which includes hotels in developing countries like Thailand. There is no coffee machine in the room. There is no coffee served in the lobby either. WIFI does NOT work in the room. The room is small and old. They also charge US$23.70 for parking which they do not say in their pricing. Worst of all, this hotel functions as a shelter for the homeless. The majority of "guests" are in this category. I first noticed this when I found almost ALL the cars in the hotel are New Jersey plates. That is a first for me. My neighbors had party and played loud music until 3 am and there was always quarreling and loud sound all night. I could not fall asleep and had nightmares when I finally fell asleep around 5 am. 1st issue was the element hanging around in the lobby, junkies nodding out. Then my room smelled like a smoke shop. They moved me to a new room that was missing tables & had a filthy disgusting shower curtain in the bathroom. I wasn't sure if it was dried poop or blood. Housekeeping took it, washed it & brought it back with the same disgusting stains but smelling like bleach. Talking about it's clean, just stained. I told them if it's stained like that it should be discarded, not washed! And to add insult to injury, there was no air. Front desk told me the heat & air has been shut off for the entire bldg because the system needs work due to the bldg being old. Totally unacceptable & false advertisement from their website. NOT RECOMMENDED!!

Clean, comfortable. But there was no hot water in the morning

The room was clean, the refrigerator in the room did not work my husband and I had one wash to share. The temperature outside was 56 in the room. It was 87. I called and asked if the air could be put on. I was told that the air is central and is not on but someone will be able to fix it someone came and turned the fan on. I could’ve done that. The fan did not help. I literally had to open the window to get some air so we can breathe get dressed for a function and not be all sweaty leaving. I also requested an additional washcloth and a mat to put in front of the tub so when we step out no one slips and falls. That never happened.
