Super 8 by Wyndham Yucca Val/Joshua Tree Nat Pk Area

Good place to stay.

Room was ok except for very hard pillows and a threadbare towel. Very limited breakfast choices.

The only problem was with kids screaming up and down the hall from midnight to 5 am

The room was clean, everything was intact, the water was hot, the bed was comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful. You won't find anything much better at this price.

My shower ran out of hot water a few minutes into it, breakfast was a few wrapped pastries and cereal, second floor boards squeaked and traffic made it very noisy. Would not stay here again.

A good starting point for Joshua Tree National Park.

The mattress is comfortable but room looks very old. When I checked in you can smell curry… Picture looks better for sure. We were wake up by some kid at 5:30am, started to scream and cry. It continued about 30 minutes

Needed an inexpensive place to sleep for a few hours after a night under the stars at Joshua Tree. Check-in was smooth. Left the property around 11pm & my significant other, being a USMC Veteran, we parked in the spot designated for Veterans, however, a truck was blocking it. I go to the office to inform them & staff stated that parking is for the boss & we should park on the other side since theres plenty of parking. Upset & confused, I ask what should we do. Staff then stated it was their car!!!! Walks out & pulls forward a little so we can get out..yet they couldnt park on the other side...? & no apology or thanks for your service. Employee walks back inside. Check out was quick & easy. Employee was very friendly. Other than that incident, I would've gave it a higher rating. Will not stay there again

This hotel is centrally located if you are planning to visit Joshua Tree National Park. However, it’s in need of some major updating. The veneer/formica on the sinks had fallen off the countertops. The vents had black dust which looks like filters haven’t been changed or cleaned. The baseboards had a layer of dirt on the edge top. The upholstered chairs had stains on the seats. So if you are trying to stay for a relaxing vacation this may not be the place for you. However if you are looking for a place to just sleep and shower, it was worth the price.

They need a refresh very badly, nothing like 30 year old cigarette smoke.

On the main road, so not a quiet location. Breakfast was coffee and wrapped pastries.

Staff was nice, budget stay. What you would expect. Would stay again if needed too without hesitation.

It was comfortable enough and clean enough. Options are limited in this area, if you’re from the high dessert you know. More expensive hotels were booked solid so we were lucky to get a room here. Room was clean and we were able to sleep and not worry. All the staff was very friendly. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired but again budget stay so didn’t expect much more than the oatmeal, toast and cereal they offered. Location was great. All in all if we had the choice to stay here again under same circumstances we would without a doubt.

It was very convenient to Joshua tree NP and to dining facilities. The owners were very nice. Rooms desperately need updating - curtains drooping, veneer coming off of sink. Room floors dirty, bedding and all else were clean. Bathroom linens changed frequently which was nice. Breakfast area limited as well as the selection of food.

Property easy to access, staff friendly. Breakfast provided was cereals and toast. Property dated but clean.

It was a very basic stay.

We always look forward to staying here. We come back to visit family in the area a few times per year and wouldn't stay anywhere else. It is clean, affordable, friendly, and comfortable.

Positives: The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and suited our needs for 2 rooms for an overnight stay. Negatives: The blankets were very thin, and the air-conditioning unit in the 2nd room wasn't adhered properly to the wall. At around 8:30pm (Saturday night) there was a loud rattling noise in the hallway for quite awhile.

Nice budget hotel. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Added bonus - a spare, but very convenient continental breakfast. An excellent choice for launching off and into the Joshua Tree NM. Highly recommended.
