Tahoe Mountain Inn was perfect for our weekend stay, the rooms are simple, clean and even had a little kitchenette for cooking and cleaning. Location was perfect and an easy drive from many hikes and sights. I would highly recommend for a Tahoe weekend getaway!

One of the easiest most efficient ways to check in! No need to check in with anyone. We were provided with our passcode the day of the book in. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. Very clean and comfortable stay!

We were in the room closest to the street. The room had no sound insulation and the road noise was horrible. The property provided a white noise machine and earplugs, but they were not helpful. Even if we were in the rooms furthest away from the street, I suspect the noise would have been unbearable.
Also, there was a used (dirty) pair of earplugs in the nightstand drawer.
Finally, the floors weren't terribly clean - our feet were dirty after a few minutes of walking barefoot.
We paid for three nights but we bailed out after the first night and found a better place to stay. It's a good thing this place is dirt cheap.

I absolutely rely on reviews, and I can tell you with all honesty. It was top-notch. Everything we needed was there. From shampoo, conditioner to dishes, and even coffee and popcorn.
We asked about extra towels and immediately it was given to us. My husband, I have no problem, coming back and staying here again.

Tahoe Mountain Inn is conveniently located near shops, attractions, and restaurants. I like that the kitchenette is equipped with kitchen utensils and appliances to help you cook your meals if you opt to. Staff is also receptive to requests. We did not encounter security issues with our stay.

Overall, the place worked well for us. Conveniently located and easy to park. Smaller than expected along with being very noisy right next to the road. They provided ear plugs and a noise machine, which was thoughtful, but didn’t really work much.

Overall it was okay for the price. We appreciate the communication, amenities, and pet-friendliness. Just keep in mind that the walls are very thin. You can hear pretty much everything from your neighbors, you know what I mean. We would stay here again if we are on a budget.
