My room did not feel clean. The bathroom floor was sticky, the bed had fallen hairs, and the mini fridge was full of the previous guest’s takeout. It also took 30 minutes to get through the check-in line. I’m a former student, so I decided to do myself the luxury of staying here and spent much more for my night than I typically do when traveling. It was a disappointing experience despite how much I love the campus itself. I don’t think I’ll return.

Great location if you are going to anything at Kyle Field or Reed Arena. Nice parking garage and hotel is well kept. The only negative is that it is near the railroad so you can definitely hear the train horns when it goes by. If you are a light sleeper I would definitely expect you to use the ear plugs they provide in the room.

This property is very clean compared to many hotels. Just be aware that although this is touted as a luxury hotel, the beds and pillows are very uncomfortable. My back actually hurt from sleeping there and I don’t have a bad back.
