Hotel without notice changed room and when my wife asked about reason of changes they stated “ we upgraded” What kind of upgrade they did ? I selected premium king bed room with balcony included breakfast but they gave her normal room with 3 beds for only one person without balcony and changed again everyday for breakfast too !!!!!!

Pros: Close to home for a staycation. Ten minute drive to State street in Carlsbad and beaches. Legoland across the street. Cons: Understaffed for a holiday weekend. One girl by herself for the entire day taking drink orders at the pool. One bartender, felt bad for him he looked frazzled. Drink was sooooouuurrr! Room with balcony that overlooked the air conditioning unit and kitchen exhaust fan- burger smell in room and loud 24/7. Overpriced parking plus resort fee-$57 more per night. Rude young guy at the “quiet” pool played his music very loudly, heard it crystal clear from the opposite end of the pool. Reported it to management, management asked him to turn it down. Young guy ignored management then made a scene at the pool asking who requested the music to be turned down. If this is the obnoxious type of clientele this hotel attracts then we will not be back.

Great location. Please add to the site, mandatory $25.00 a day, with a $25 a day credit at the restaurant. It’s a great feature to include breakfast

This hotel is amazing! Plenty of space for families, plenty of activities, and so much more.

The hotel was nice and clean but they take their check. In and check out times real serious. We didn’t get in our room until 5:00 and they literally knocked on the door at 11:05 and asked us to check out. No extra amenities like cotton balls, shower cap, nothing. Just bulk soap

Vanessa made our stay amazing! Her customer service was above and beyond what we expected! It’s a very short walk to Legoland which was great with little kiddos. The only issue was the sliding door for the bathroom made an absolutely horrid noise when opened or shut, which is super inconvenient with little ones sleeping at night. Otherwise, the room was fantastic and everyone enjoyed the amount of space. The pools were also amazing. One is specifically for families and children, which we took advantage of during the day. At night the wife and I could enjoy the quiet pool in peace while enjoying a drink. Overall great experience. Will stay there again for the next Legoland trip.

This beautiful property is very large with many amenities. We really enjoyed our stay here, every staff member we we came in contact with were friendly and helpful when asked for assistance. We would definitely stay here again if we planned a trip to the area.

Really liked it. But didn’t expect to get hit with $50 daily resort charge, plus parking. Other than that I loved it.

It was an average resort stay. Nice customer service. We had a suite with a king bed and 2 twin beds. The king bed was comfortable but the twin beds were good only if you have little kids. Not comfortable for adults. The room was clean & comfortable. The air conditin would automatically shot off after awhile & wouldn't restart automatically. We had to get up & manually re-start it in the middle of night. At the end we were charged additional $25 fee & $32 parking for one night & $ 25 that was credited if you would use the restaurant or shop at their market. We shopped some goods from their small market place. Good quality!!

Our rooms were ready early! Check in was quick. Even though no valet parking; the self parking down below was convenient and has elevator that takes you straight to the floors. Lobby was so bright, clean and modern looking.

Beautiful property, friendly staff- from receptionists at check in to bartenders and servers. Matty and Connor at the bar were helpful and welcoming.

Property was nice.

Great option especially if you have young children and are planning on visiting Legoland and or the flower fields!

Great stay for our family! My son loved it. Clean, updated rooms. Overall very nice, grounds kept clean and close to restaurants. Will book again!
