Unfortunately, my first night at this hotel was a disappointing experience from the moment we arrived and parked in front for valet service. There was a long line with six people ahead of me, and it took an hour and a half to check in due to only one receptionist on a busy weekend with events happening in Chicago. I even developed a migraine from the long wait. When it was finally my turn to check in, the receptionist informed me that our room wasn't available because we booked through Hotels.com. After more waiting, I was charged multiple times for the room and valet service. Upon reaching my room, I had to return to the front desk to check in for valet again. While trying to rest and recover from my headache, the closet light turning on and off due to vibrations from neighboring room doors slamming disturbed my sleep. It was an all-around unpleasant experience.

I was charged 99.00 from hotel.com and then showed up to this hotel and payrd 94.12 more for room and then 125.00 for deposite and another for final payment plus got charged again a charge on top of that what you hotel.com advertised as a dollar room turned into a bill including animates i did not want or recieved during my stay i need to speak with someone from hotel.com i over paid too much this app sucks

If you book through hotels.com or another site, you get notified when you get there that there is a $75/night charge on top of what you paid. When I challenged the girl behind the counter on their shady practices, she told me I should have checked the very fine print. It ended up being more expensive than most other hotels in the area. NEVER AGAIN

I recently stayed at the Chicago Hotel and was extremely disappointed by the front desk service. When I went to check out, I approached the desk to let them know that my key wasn’t working. Instead of assisting me respectfully, the older Asian woman at the front desk (who wasn’t even wearing a name tag) was incredibly rude and condescending. She dismissed me immediately and said, “Next time, wait in the line,” in a tone that was completely uncalled for—especially since I was already a paying guest. She then threw the replacement keys across the counter without a word and immediately moved on to help the next customer, ignoring me completely. Her behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful, and it left a very negative impression. I sincerely hope the hotel takes this kind of poor customer service seriously and makes the necessary changes. This is also a in response to Michael ward supposedly an operations manager that did not acknowledge my concern but was dismissive Michael, While I understand the importance of not interrupting staff who are assisting another guest, that was not the issue here. I did not interrupt anyone—I waited my turn and approached the desk respectfully. The problem was the way I was treated once it was my turn. I was dismissed with a condescending tone, told “next time, wait in the line” when I had already done so, and had my replacement key thrown across the counter without a single word of courtesy. That is not acceptable customer service.

This was the worst hotel my husband & I ever stayed at. Expensive for no reason. The room was dirty. There were disgusting stains on the sofa. The TV channels didn’t work. The phone didn’t work every time I tried to call Front Desk. Then I tried to call via my cell phone, & they don’t answer so I had to go downstairs & wait in a long line. They didn’t even give us the WiFi password until the last day of my stay and that’s only because I had to go down & ask for it. They don’t have room service or housekeeping. You literally pay an expensive price for a room with absolutely no type of service. Not worth the money or the stay. The hotel isn’t safe since you don’t even have to scan your card to go up the elevator. Never stayed in a hotel for that price in Chicago where I didn’t have to scan my card to go ip. No amenities. Horrible experience. Also parking is $75 a night.

The room was very small, did not have a microwave. The mini fridge was sitting on the ground and broke. It was set to high and would not turn down so it froze everything we put in and we couldn’t use it. The valet took 10 mins to bring the car because the hotel does not have a parking garage . They use one around the corner. We previously told them we did not want to pay for overnight parking just a couple hours and they still charged my card. Worst hotel I have ever been too.

Hotel charged us an extra $330 when we checked in. First day we had no hot water, and the staff at the front desk told us it was "warm enough" Eventually they fixed it on day two.
