This resort is clean and well maintained. It was perfect to celebrate our anniversary! It’s right on the beach but still has a pool. It was very quiet and peaceful! The only downside is that it’s about 20 minutes away from downtown. We wanted to have dinner watching sunset, so we went to Brett’s Waterway Cafe at the marina by downtown. But there are restaurants on site. I would love to visit here again with my family. They have put put golf, pickleball courts, tennis courts and golf courses. The beach here is amazing! I definitely recommend this place!

The Omni resort is very beautiful and has wonderful amenities, but the villa we stayed in was a building on the property where the units are privately owned. The building we stayed in is in great need of structural repairs. The gardens are all very old and dead. The outside trash bins around the pool area were overflowing and never emptied for the whole time we stayed. The unit itself is very dirty and smells very danc and musty, it has maybe a 28 inch tv that was very old. Please beware of this unit.

I originally booked the Villa for my stay; however, I switched to the main resort. It took a while to find the building, the building and room were very outdated. It did not feel like a vacation since there was no room service and you literally had to walk, drive or wait for shuttle to get anywhere. I stayed at the villa one night and asked to be moved. Once I switched over to the resort, I started enjoying my vacation. I had a beautiful modern room facing a beautiful view, easy access to all amenities and room service was a phone call away. Personally for me, the villa felt isolated, to each its own, it was not for me and my family. Next time, I’ll be sure to book Omni Resort and Spa, not Villas.

A Rocky Start That Couldn’t Be Fully Recovered This was our first time staying here, and unfortunately, it will likely be our last. I confirmed our reservation multiple times leading up to arrival. About an hour and a half away, I called again to double-check the address—only to be met with unhelpful and rude behavior from the front gate guard, Newsome, who couldn’t locate our reservation and proceeded to make it seem like my mistake. Once we finally got to the main building, our Expedia reservation was still nowhere to be found—apparently due to a glitch between the systems. After nearly an hour of waiting, Jamie (manager on duty) stepped in, and thankfully created a new reservation for us with an upgraded room, which we appreciated. That said, the overall property felt outdated. Several buildings and restaurants smelled musty and lacked the polish you’d expect for the price. While we’re grateful for Jamie’s help, the poor first impression and the overall condition of the resort left a bad taste. We won’t be returning.

The main hotel is beautiful however the black mold in the condo we rented nearly sent my kid to the ER. The management was incredibly helpful but I’d like to see these units be inspected a few times a year as they represent Omni. The only other complaint is it’s near impossible to get a spot at the pool. There needs to be rules like Beaches. If someone isn’t there you can’t reserve a bunch of chairs. It’s not right or fair. I’d also say do away with the charges for beach chairs. Unnecessary and the resort makes enough as is. Other than that - the staff make the place overall an amazing experience

The resort was wonderful. We stayed in the Tennis Villas which were probably at the cheapest price point however the room was very nice. There was a pool at the villlas. The big winner for me was the pools at the main hotel. There were a lot of seating with umbrellas. There were waiters walking around taking food and drink orders. The hamburger was the best I've had in a while. We had breakfast at one of the on site restaurants but the food wasn't what we expected. It was more pastry and breakfast sandwiches. If you want actual breakfast go off property about 10 minutes to the a place called the Beach Diner. Overall we enjoyed relaxing at this resort. It is a little spendy.
