Tru by Hilton Raleigh Durham Airport

Traveling on 6/27 with a very long and frustrating day of flight delays our plane was diverted to Raleigh and finally canceled at 2:30 am. Next flight was not for another 12 hrs so we made a reservation at this hotel. What we didn’t know when we made the reservation since it was after midnight is that it is actually for the next night. Since they had no rooms available we asked for a refund. They said we had to contact Expedia since we booked through them. Expedia said since there were extenuating circumstances and the reservation was cancelled only 30 minutes after making it the hotel will likely agree to refund. Hotel basically said we don’t care about you and will absolutely not permit a refund of unused room. I will never stay at another Hilton property

Super nice clean room, bed very comfortable

We stayed overnight for a quick trip to the airport. The shuttle, fly and park option was great!

Excellent stay and service only complaint would be parking

Very close to the airport. Super friendly and helpful staff.

The shuttle driver was so friendly. We feel bad we don’t have cash to tip him. He is a great introduction to your hotel and he adds a friendly, welcoming air to our travel adventure. The front desk woman was also sweet, and helped us with drinks and how to order pizza after a late flight.

We always love staying at Tru by Hilton hotel. Great pool table and board games to be entertained. Also it comes with great breakfast and complete fitness equipment. Highly recommended!

Very affordable and very clean rooms, free breakfast

Clean, quiet, and surrounded by lush greenery, this small hotel was perfect for our two-night stay. The room was fresh, the staff friendly, and the mini fridge a convenient touch. We felt safe, enjoyed a simple but adequate breakfast, and loved the location—just 5 minutes from the airport and close to major landmarks. Would definitely stay here again!

I enjoy privacy and quite clean place

It was clean and friendly, and inviting to stay one more night. Loved the breakfast which was very hi-tech -- wave your hand for 2 freshly made pancakes, the lemon-lime water, steamed chicken or pork sausage, etc. Loved the hand soap which you squeeze - lemon, along with the conditioner, lotion, shampoo. Then no closet of I had a special room, but space was creatively made. Loved it

The only downside was that the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. I called the hotel as soon as I get my luggage, waited in the designated zone but after 55 minutes no came. I asked a Hilton honors chauffeur if they were me ride, and as soon as told him I was waiting for Tru, he ask me how long I was waking…He wasn’t surprised and give me a ride to the hotel. Seems Tru have a problem with picking up guests at the airport. And the service ends at midnight and my flight arrived at 11:00pm. This is something they have to take care of!

Great service

Generally clean and comfortable. Towels and linens were stained. Probably clean but didn’t feel clean because of the stains

Our one night stay was perfect. Very convenient to the airport for an early flight. The staff was pleasant at check in and check out. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy!
