Clean room . However, it is not very soundproof. The lady at the reception desk in the afternoon shift is very sweet. She cleaned the room very enthusiastic to help her. My vacation was really great. If I have a chance to return to Hanoi, I will definitely stay again

Of the multiple hotels that I’ve stayed in my several week visit to VN, I found Matilda boutique hotel to be one of the nicer hotels. Morning breakfast was really excellent and the service very very good. They went the extra mile to take care of my needs. I would definitely stay there again. It was a great value for the amount I paid.

The rooms are quite nice but the corridors echo every noise so you hear people coming and going, slamming doors and flushing toilets throughout the night - not much good if you are a light sleeper. Also there is not enough seating at breakfast, I came down at 7.15 planning to leave for a tour at 8 and couldn’t get a seat. 45 minutes later I was able to grab a slice of toast before having to rush out of the door. Service was poor.

We had a wonderful stay at the Matilda Boutique and Spa Hotel.The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfasts were awesome. Great selection and very tasty. Room was cleaned daily. Fresh towels and bottled water provided daily. Location is great. Easy walking distance to Ho Kiem Lake, shopping and numerous restaurants. Would highly recommend. Thank you for helping to make our experience in Hanoi so enjoyable.
