Delta Hotels by Marriott St. Pierre Country Club

Staff deserve a special mention - they made sure felt welcome and had everything we needed travelling with a baby. Room was slightly dated, but it was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Gym and pool were great. Restaurant food was delicious.

Hotel and staf were lovley. Was busy so a little noisey when people came back to rooms and could hear them talking when in bed. Did have a good night sleep apart from that. Taxies down to town are a little expensive if they are used.

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were greeted by friendly staff at both reception and breakfast. Breakfast was great, the best scrambled egg I've had in a long time. Pool and spa facilities gave us that little bit extra.

OK stay, parts of the hotel need an upgrade, dubious stain on bedroom curtains

Beautiful property and setting, staff were exceptional. However, the facilities were not as good as expected. The rooms are very basic for the price, get better rooms in premier inns with smart TVs! No water facilities in the spa, or access to amenities. Although we had a very nice relaxing time, it was not value for money.

Grounds were beautiful as well as common areas of the main hotel, breakfast was excellent, such a wide variety of hot and cold items, something for everyone! Food at bar was a bit overpriced, and they overcooked my chicken sandwich:(, but fish & chips were excellent. We got “upgraded” to St Pierre’s Village to the honeymoon suite, a very odd room with bathroom, sitting area (only a two person sofa) with tv & dining room table on first floor, king bed & tv on second floor up a spiral staircase. A sink on second floor but no toilet. Place has seen better days and bed was stiff, too stiff for my liking. Patio outside had some furniture that hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, so patio was useless. One radiator was broken and stuck on, way too hot, they first sent the bar folks to try and fix it, and after they couldn’t the maintenance guy finally came to take care of it. He knew it was already a problem so I don’t know why it wasn’t fixed before we checked in. The buildings in the village reminded me of army barracks, and as such was a total disconnect vs the old main hotel that was nicely updated and full of charm. I’m frankly surprised Marriott put their name of this hotel given the shorty & tackiness of the village area. Staff was very friendly, but mgmt needs to upgrade the villages to the standard of say the dining rooms. Very disappointed….the pool, hot tub, sauna & steam room was great, except that they rent out the pool for swim lessons for kids, not very relaxing.

Comfortable and clean, with extremely helpful staff who elevated the experience.

Hotel charnong outside, needs tlc inside. Food average, breakfast expensive for quality.

A hotel with tons of potential but needs investment and TLC, Mattress protectors full of lumps the size of watermelons!

Stunning location. We were able to check in early and had a room on the lake with balcony. Room was really spacious. The main hotel is lovely and all staff were very friendly. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good and service quick. Will definitely return for another stay

Only thing I would add was if there is a wedding going on its very chaotic if you are not part of that and just a guest

Whilst on this occasion things didn’t go as planned, I still couldn’t fault the staff on the way they sorted the issue quickly and generously. It was a trip away for my birthday and everyone went out of their way to make my stay memorable for all the right reasons. Amazing food, delightful surroundings, excellent staff, couldn’t fault our stay. A special shout out and thank you to Sonia, Dan, Lucy and the lovely lady with the glasses whose name I didn’t catch who greeted us for breakfast each morning; exceptional customer service accompanied by a welcoming smile and friendliness. The St Pierre are very lucky to have you. We will be back soon :)

Marriott standards are not what they use to be. The hotel, and facilities are very good, however, our room was far too hot, and there was no thermostat to adjust … The fridge didn’t work, and the general condition of the room could best be described as tired… We had to open the sliding patio door to keep the room temperature down, not ideal by a lake and open to all….. Not sure how their billing system works, my bank account was charged on the first night for some extras..even the reception staff were perplexed..

We enjoyed our stay, although having golfers walking past our window early in the morning was slightly awkward
