The best spot to watch the Kecak dance is at Uluwatu while watching the sunset. Ticket exchange is very easy, no need to join the long queues for the go-show. It's really cool.

The performance took place right before sunset, with the ocean and golden sky as the backdrop — absolutely breathtaking. The energy of the dancers and the rhythm of the chanting were truly captivating. There were no musical instruments, just the powerful voices of the performers, creating a hypnotic and dramatic atmosphere. The storytelling of the Ramayana was beautifully expressed through movement, fire, and expression — even if you don’t understand the language, you can still feel the emotion. The venue was well-organized, and the staff helped guide everyone to their seats. We got there around 5 PM to get a good spot and enjoy the sunset before the show started. It’s a must-see cultural experience — spiritual, beautiful, and unforgettable. Definitely worth including in your Bali itinerary!
