It's better to go to GWK in the afternoon because the weather isn't too hot....at 6 PM there's a free Kecak dance performance...it's just that you can't watch it with a sunset view like in Uluwatu...and at GWK there are guys or girls who help take photos so you can get cool photos....

Overall, GWK is worth a visit because every time you see each statue, you will automatically be amazed and many questions will arise in your head about its height, size, carvings, etc., as well as the area being so clean and well-maintained. My advice for coming here is to avoid the high season or a weekday so that you and your family can enjoy and feel the vibe more.

Didn't have time to exchange the ticket, watched the show in the middle of the event because I arrived late, didn't get to go in, tried it next time, but the show was okay.

GWK is truly magnificent and a must-see when in Bali! The Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue is incredibly large and beautiful—it's truly breathtaking to see it up close. The park area is also spacious and well-maintained, perfect for a leisurely stroll while enjoying the scenery. There are plenty of cool photo spots, cultural performances, and dining options with beautiful views. If you come in the afternoon, approaching sunset, the atmosphere is even more beautiful and the breeze is really cool. 🌅 ✨ Tip: Wear comfortable footwear, as the area is quite spacious to explore. Come a little later in the day to get photos in the best lighting and to catch a dance performance. ⭐ Rating: 5/5 An iconic place that combines culture, art, and spectacular views. An unforgettable experience during your Bali vacation! 🌺

It's just giant statues nice for selfies, but little about Bali culture and the people. Very babylon tower-ish; beautiful, tall but for what purpose..? What baffled me the most is how the place is explained as a sacred water source but we couldn't drink the water at all, very comodified.
