It was really good but unfortunately it was raining when we went there so the show was moved indoors 😞. Overall everything was really good.

Actually really liked the show. The dancers, story, plot, action were all very good. It was just hampered by the drizzle that didn't stop since the afternoon. The show that I ordered was supposed to be outdoors with the Prambanan Temple as the background but failed to air. However, the alertness and readiness of the staff had to move the event indoors and mix with the indoor audience which made the stage very full. I was a little disappointed because of the situation, but not with the performance.

One of my bucket list checked!! Friendly and helpful staff, clean area, cool show, delicious snacks for VIP tickets, location can be reached by online transportation. Suggestion: on traveloka (or maybe other platforms) you can be given access to select seats during the booking process. I arrived earlier than a foreign tourist, but I was placed in the VIP upper right corner, while tourists who arrived after me got a more strategic place in the middle seat. I don't know but it feels like favoritism and foreign tourists are prioritized. So to be fairer, you can add access to select seats. Whoever books first can get the desired spot 😊

The Ramayana performance is really excellent. The setting of the theatre with the Prambanan Temple as the backdrop looks amazing. We bought VIP tickets so our seats were front and centre and we received drinks and snacks during the performance. The dancers and their costumes and musicians were excellent and their portrayal of the Ramayana story a joy to watch. For those unfamiliar with the story there are QR Codes at the entrance giving access to the synopsis and also two large screens at he side of the stage which gives information about each scene. Unfortunately the weather intervened the night we attended and the performance was cut short but we would definitely recommend experiencing this unique event.

The ticket exchange process is very fast, less than 2 minutes. The crowd is quite conducive. The waiting time may mean the accuracy of the show's start time is very much in accordance with the schedule. Information boards are available in various places, the staff are very friendly and agile in terms of assistance. Oh yes, a suggestion if you want to get Prambanan background footage when taking a video, take the VIP class or whatever it is for 350 thousand. For class 1, if you want to see the Prambanan background, you must be in a landscape position when taking a video. Class 2 is highly not recommended because it is too sideways. Try to come 1 hour before the show starts, because we can take pictures first with the Prambanan background before the show starts. Because the background is very photogenic 👍🏻😁

the show was gooodd it was worth to watch once in a lifetime while looking at the view of prambanan at night it was so pretty!! there were a lot of staff and they were all super helpful and friendly, but the downside was the show started late so it ended a bit later and the venue was really hot and not indoor (even though the ticket said indoor). and the show was only for a short time, it didn't feel long because it was so good haha
