At first I was worried when I was told that the driver couldn't speak English because I was a solo traveler. But everything was fine without any problems, the pick up was on time according to instructions. The hotel staff were friendly, knowing that I was a Muslim they tried to serve me appropriate food. My hotel had a balcony facing the hill, unfortunately the weather was foggy all the time so I couldn't see anything. The hotel staff also helped me book the Fansipan cable car. Overall I was satisfied with this trip. Maybe I will come back when the weather is better.

From Hanoi, take the highway, the scenery on both sides of the road is beautiful. The cable car costs extra but it's worth a try.

There is a shuttle bus throughout the journey from Hanoi, so it's very convenient, suitable for those traveling in small groups like me.
