Our guide's guide and language skills were very high, and he made the Blue Fire viewing 300% more exciting and enjoyable and the whole hiking 200% more enjoyable. He was also extremely considerate and supportive to participants with varying levels of physical ability. I've climbed many mountains and volcanoes in Indonesia, and he was the best guide I've ever had.

If you’re booking a volcano tour for Ijen, simply look no further than Sopi, Ican and their tour. Sopi combines energy, good vibes, local knowledge and experience - exactly what you need at 2am as you navigate past slippery rocks and other tourists. His English is fantastic and he has a natural interest in others. At one point I thought I lost my wallet in a shelter on the crater, he offered to trek uphill again even after we finished the hike. As for the volcano, it was world class experience. Book this tour!

Even though the reservation admin is slow to respond, this trip is worth it to buy. Only 180k includes pick-up in Banyuwangi or Ketapang area, also dropped off at Firdaus clinic to make a health certificate, get mineral water and fried banana breakfast after descending. Both the driver and tour guide are very friendly. The tour guide with the same name as me, Mba Nurul, was very patient waiting for me who often went to the toilet and took a break. Helped guide and hold my hand when I was afraid of heights. Thank you very much. Don't hesitate to book this trip, super recommended. 👍👍😍🥰

The waiting area is nice and comfortable, transportation can be free pick up, if outside the coverage area there is a charge of 75k/person, very worth it.

The journey to the top is not easy because it is uphill & sandy soil conditions, but it is all paid off by the extraordinary natural beauty. It takes 3-4 hours to get to the top (each person's condition is different), the point is it takes patience & strong determination 🫶🏻

The driver was very friendly and everything was well organized. The guide to Ijen crater was really funny and knowledgeable, and overall it was extremely tiring but worth it in the end.
