Highly recommended for traveling in Japan. We used the JR West 3-day pass since we were only in Osaka and Kyoto. The Haruka train from Kansai Airport to Shin Osaka, with three stops, was a straight shot.

Super easy for redemption, just need to use the vending machine at one of the major JR stations in the Kansai area. No issue at all with using the pass, zero delay, and zero hassle. Used the pass to visit: Himeji and Kobe, from Osaka.

Using this ticket, I can go to many places such as Nara, Kobe, Himeji... and along the way, we stopped at various fancy stations like Maiko and Suma to enjoy the beautiful seaside scenery. Very satisfying.
