I recently stayed at B Ocean Resort in June and, unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, the bathroom sink was clogged and wouldn’t drain properly, the shower head was broken, and the bed had no clean sheets or pillowcases. These are basic amenities that should never be overlooked. Additionally, when I spoke to the front desk staff (I believe her name was Diane), she told me there would be a $43 resort charge—but failed to clarify that this was a daily fee. That lack of transparency was frustrating and felt misleading. Overall, I expected better service and communication from a resort at this price point.

Very clean and friendly staff. Convenience of the beach being walkable to the property not sure if I like being across the street on the hotel side or the ocean view but still a great experience.

I checked in and saw familiar face Diana B I. Was able to get in my room and it was a lovely location super grateful to the staff always wonderful when I return also a treat to see Mark in the bar and the mermaid….

I didn’t like that in more than one ocassion we had roaches in our room.

Property was clean and staff were friendly.. food was good but not having a microwave to heat up your food was disappointing. A few different places to eat at hotel but menu was the same would have liked some variety. Daily resort fee but did not include umbrella. You would think by providing an umbrella your guests would stay at the beach longer spending more money.

Would not stay here again got Bite in there bed i have bites all over my body the maid Service was horrible she just Fix beds never clean the bathroom our put new towels my husband had to help her clean and tell her want to do i will not ever stay here keep your money

Loud room in front of elevator and staff entry area. The elevator was fine but the staff kept letting the door slam behind them every time they used their entry door. Disgruntled guests at every turn - one accusing the staff of stealing from their room, the other challenging staff to a fight when they were asked to turn their music down. Chairs available at beach but there is a charge for use of an umbrella??? Area quiet. Not a lot of restaurants or things to do

Trash covered beach. Rude staff on the beach. Beach staff told us “two beach chairs per room”

What a huge disappointment our stay was at this hotel. Our first night they had to move us to a new room in the middle of the night because of some sewer odor. I left a dress in the midst of the rush to move to a new room and the dress was stolen by housekeeping. The food and drinks were extremely expensive and tasted like garbage. I will never return to this hotel - never!

Location of this hotel is great. The beach access, beach and beach staff were amazing. The hotel itself is old and needs updating, food and drinks were way too expensive for quality. Windows need better black out curtains.

this property is horrible the Pool is dirty the staff are not willing to help nor give towels to you. the restartant has the worst customer care possible. and the room was never cleaned in the whole weekend we stayed we asked for towels and had to go and get them from the front desk... horrible customer service and the price you pay is 5 star hotel... very disappointed.

I was changed 3 rooms because AC malfunction and even the last room had issues. Gave up on complaining because nothing further was done to compensate me for the issue. I had AC set up in every room to 65 and the temperature wouldn’t drop below 76, even overnight. The hotel said since it was prepaid they couldn’t do anything to compensate me. That is a total lie.

Very friendly staff fun trip but not a lot of options for coffee and beverages other than the bar or Starbucks. All in all a good place to stay

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our stay at the B Resort Hotel in Fort Lauderdale was so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn others. First and foremost, the resort was very dirty and not renovated. The common areas, hallways, and even the rooms looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned. The amenities were minimal at best, and certainly not what you'd expect from a place calling itself a “resort.” To make matters worse, the air conditioning in one of the buildings was completely non-functional. In the Florida heat, this was unbearable, and the staff showed no urgency in resolving the issue. Another serious issue is the parking. They charge $55/day for valet, and if you opt not to use valet, you’re forced to pay $5/hour for self-parking including overnight. This outrageous policy is not clearly disclosed ahead of time, and it feels like a blatant money grab. But the most serious and disturbing issue came with the valet service. A firearm was stolen from our locked vehiclewhile it was in their care. When we brought this up, the valet manager (short Spanish woman) didn’t show the slightest concern. Instead of helping, she tried to cover it up by pointing to tiny fine print on the valet ticket that says they’re not responsible for stolen items. She didn’t apologize, didn’t take any accountability, and refused to refund the valet fee — even after we involved the police. It was handled with complete disregard. There are THIEVES working their valet service! DONT STAY

I absolutely loved the place and will definitely come back… dining options on the other hand are very pricey

It was fine for an old property. The plugs next to the bed would not hold a cord, they kept falling out but I found one wall plug that would. It is right on the beach and you pay for that in all expenses especially food and parking. If you are not on a budget and want to spend time at the beach this is a decent pick.
