Location, Location, location!

We really wanted to like this place. We loved the location and ease of getting to/from there. Our room was always clean and the staff was friendly. But the WiFi is unsecured and weak, they constantly ran out of towels (we were denied 3 times asking for replacements), and waiting for the only elevator grew frustrating. Pros: Proximity to restaurants/shopping/beach/pier, outdoor seating, parking, pool/hot tub Cons: Unsecured and spotty WiFi, lack of towels, I-5 right behind the building, always waiting for single elevator

We love the location! Close to shops and restaurants. Few minutes drive to the beach!

Everything about our stay was great. Easy parking, checking in, updated bathroom. Easy walk to countless shops and restaurants

Close to the beach but you have to drive a little. Loved the beach - probably my favorite part of my trip. Streamed TV through my phone to watch YouTube movie at night.

Great Location. Property was clean but a little run down. Pool looked bigger in the photos.

The Volare was a perfect stay for a weekend getaway. The location was walking distance to the shops, food and bars. It was also very close to the beach. Would stay again.

Had to remind to clean the room.

The location was good from the standpoint of walking down toward the pier, but the noise from garbage bins being emptied early a.m. was disturbing. No maid service. They came once on our 2nd day at 4 p.m. We were napping. They never came back during a 3 night stay

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. And you can’t beat the location. It is walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach and pier. The trolley was a very short walk away and it made many stops within the main areas and even went to the outlet mall and was free of charge.

We came here for my birthday back in march and had such a nice experience we decided to come back for my wife’s in the summer! The pool is quaint but perfect for the location, the room was very clean and comfortable and the bed was awsome. It’s literally a 2 minute walk to Del Mar street which is great for walking around and eating,and drinking. The toilet has a boogie bidet on it and the shower was excellent. The parking had never been an issue and the staff is very helpful. If your gonna stay in San Clemente I would dare you to find a better place to stay than here.

Cute hotel in San Clemente walking distance from an amazing shopping row and access to the trolleys that take you to the beach or shopping The hotel itself is cute but is a little older so you can run into those aging pains sometimes ie: elevator not working, leaky AC ect.

Room faced the I-5 freeway and was very noisy. Carpet was dirty and furnishings stained. Did not feel comfortable staying. Checked in, and checked out within 5 minutes. Found something else cleaner and not with a loud freeway right outside the window.

It was fine .
