The staff was wonderful! The property was clean. Close to the train station. Lots of restaurants around.

We chose this location because we it is right by the Lobg Island Railroad

No hair dryer in the room. No one on front desk to answer the phone. No one available to bring up a hair dryer. Rooms are old and terrible

Checking in with Linda, she provided excellent information on the local area for our group of upstaters. We had several family members staying at this location and she grouped our rooms together on the same floor. Her friendly demeanor made us feel welcome after a long trip. This spot is convenient to restaurants around Rockville Centre as well.

Mold on the sheets! Leak off the tub, pillows super uncomfortable…This place needs to renovate and upgrade specially for the price per night!

It's just not safe, lots of weird stuff happens in the back by the tracks and lots of screaming and noise

Road hard...typical old fashioned motel on a highway. Really could use an update. Breakfast was completely processed foods including Nescafe instant coffee. Room was very clean, staff was nice--the saving grace for a very expensive motel stay.

The property is dated and not a good value for the price. But most annoying is the fact that I was charged for an extra night when I wasn't even there. Misleading advertising on my phone made it appear that our room was available at a lower price. I pressed accept and ended up paying for a night when I was still at my previous location. Expedia has tried to contact the manager several times about this and says they are not responding. This will be my last Best Western stay, and I do not plan to use Expedia for future trips.

I should’ve known better than to book a stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, it felt off. The area was noisy and chaotic, and the hotel itself gave off a shady vibe. It didn’t feel like a place meant for travelers—it looked like people were actually living there full-time, with some questionable activity happening around the property. There were loud noises throughout the night, doors slamming, people lingering around the parking lot at all hours, and just an overall unsafe, unsettling atmosphere. I genuinely feared for my safety. Based on what I saw, I wouldn’t be surprised if something more serious—possibly even human trafficking—was happening here. This is not a place for families, solo travelers, or honestly anyone looking for peace of mind. I regret booking this place. Never again. Shut it down.

This is a very dated property in an inconvenient location. The downtown area looks very poor and just walking the streets is unsafe for older folks like us.
