Room was clean. Carpet was thin and stained in spots. Curtains were worn. Bathroom was small and bathtub looked dirty.

We arrived at night, and there was no signage where the lobby was located. There were people hanging around in the parking lot watching those pulling in that made us feel very uncomfortable.

Property was old and dirty.

Wasnt the nicest area but the hotel was good enough for a day or 2.

We reserved rooms here, but didn't stay after we saw how filthy the rooms were. The pot smell was also terrible. The facility is terribly outdated, in need of cleaning. Do not recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel is currently being renovated and it shows around the property. The room was spacious and was good for what we needed but the breakfast was less than expected. The “hot” breakfast was some anemic sausage, thick gravy for dry biscuits, and “hash brown potatoes” that were not crispy at all and more like mashed potatoes in ribbons. Also no fruit or packaged yogurt to be found anywhere. They do have one waffle maker but be sure to get there early or you’ll be waiting in a long line. Overall it was good for the price we paid and it was close to New River Gorge National Park, but probably would pay a little more in the future and stay somewhere else.

This hotel was gross, needs major repairs. I was seriously surprised we didnt take bugs home

The rooms were very dirty. Hair in the sink and tub. The bedding had stains all over it. Not just a few spots. Dead hornets in the bathroom. It had obviously not been deep cleaned in a while.

Friendly staff, but our room was dirty. Tub had red stains and hair in it, bathroom mirror filthy, bathroom counter dirty, window in room covered in filth, floor had things all over it, fridge had food on bottom shelf. Check in was good, very friendly young lady. There’s a breakfast offered in the morning, but I checked out within a few minutes of getting into the room. The bedding was clean and the beds were made.

The price was truly great and yet the place was spotless. Even a hot breakfast.

It was outdated. The hallway had not been vacuumed . The room itself was outdated, but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. We were able to make our own waffles. They had toast and gravy and biscuits. The orange juice was delicious!!! The stay there was worth the money.

If you need a place to sleep for a night or two, this is it. The rooms were really basic. One bed was awkward and I i almost cell off if I turned over. Sheets and towels were clean, basic amentities provided. Was allowed to bring our dog, so that was a huge plus. Breakfast was scarce. No milk and limited options for breads, which we normally see a larger selection at Econo Lodges. The floor in front of the bathroom door was wet, not sure how. Staff was extremely friendly and check in was very easy. The one staff was working the breakfast bar and then outside cleaning up. Huge shout out to her for being such a hard worker. Will visit again when we return to SWV.
