Great Hotel, comfortable room, clean and well maintained.

Ive been staying here for 25 years and love the place especially Luis who has been part of the furniture for nearly 30. It well never be the De Vere however its on the way back

The room was ok, sheets stiff and balcony without seating option.

A good location if taking a cruise. Rooms are a reasonable size for North Americans liking a little more space. Easy to access ferry to Isle of Wight, town walls and good restaurants. Big shopping plaza close. Room was comfortable. Expect small bathroom.

The room was tired- bathtub chipped and bathroom needs Reno! Restaurant are great as was all staff!!

Very friendly staff, very quick and professional check in. Room was spacious and inviting, bathroom was very clean and tidy.

Property very close to cruise ship terminal but not walking distance with suitcases. It is about 15 minutes to walk to large shopping mall and then a few minutes to be in the town. Walking at night is subjective, young and old differ in their thoughts. The hotel had no maps to give a new guest. I think they were delinquent in not assisting an arriving guest. The taxi dide to or from the ship is about five minutes.

We checked in late after midnight, however the reception wasn't manned straight away..and had to wait around. Not a great start. The room initially didn't have any water. There were no vending machines or opportunity to purchase anything. The receptionist did say he would have a bottle sent up. Having waited over 15mins I phoned down again to check. It did arrive swiftly then. The bedroom was clean and the bed very comfortable. We had not booked breakfast so cannot comment on this. However before we checked out we thought we'd try the complementary spa. The changing rooms to the associated sauna/steam room swimming pool are in a state of disrepair.. which took the shine off the stay a little but at least the sauna was working and hot! It is clearly a popular 4star hotel, just needs a little bit of refurb/refresh here and there. Will consider staying there again in future because of it's location.

Smooth, quick check-in, quiet, clean room.

The hotel is perfectly located with regard to access to the port. The very historical area is where the mayflower sailed from. My own criticism of the hotel is this age and it could use a little freshen up. Breakfast was outstanding. However, it’s the same every day. They could use some change up on breakfast from time to time. The short answer is, we would love to stay there again given the opportunity.

Excellent hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful learning why we were there and what are needs would be.

We loved our short stay.....the only thing i would change is the pillows were so hard. Thank you for everything.

The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are lovely. The breakfast offers many tasty options. The location is very near the train station and cruise port and there are many restaurants in walking distance. I would recommend to family and friends.
