Top notch hotel. The lack of a regal lobby benefits this hotel. Charming and hospitable. 5 stars. Go there.

Bed needed a new mattress. Coffee maker in room didn’t work. Very small room for the cost. When I went down to breakfast, hostess wanted to make me wait because I didn’t have a reservation. Second hostess intervened and gave me a table. I’ve stayed at this hotel several times in the past and always had a better experience. They need to up their game.

The staff was warm, professional, and consistently accommodating, making our stay feel effortless. One of the highlights was the speakeasy-style bar downstairs—intimate, stylish, and perfect for a nightcap. This hotel blends historic charm with refined luxury. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful and historic hotel just a stones throw from the White House. We also loved the downstairs bar which is warm and cozy and a great vibe. Staff is lovely and the room was classic beauty from a bygone era in the best possible way.

I felt like I was sleeping in the White House!

Restroom shower wasn’t clean, requested several times to resolved the issue but nothing happened
