The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and had a variety of choices that rotated out by day. The staff doing the breakfast was friendly and everything was kept very neat. The pool was nice and clean. We were on the ground floor and could hear the guests moving around above us. Mostly when they moved chairs or stomped. We also had some issues at check in. We arrived at 5. Our room wasn't ready, even though check in is at 4. I was told to park our car around the building and it would be ready. I did so and discovered I couldn't get in the building because I wasn't given a key. There was torrential rain. When I made it back to the front desk, the room still wasn't ready. I was told we should expect delays because we requested an accessible room. There is no reason that a person needing an accessible room should expect it not to be ready. Needing an accessible room doesn't mean that guest should expect to check in later or be ok with poorer service. Luckily, I could be flexible as our teen, who uses a wheelchair, wasn't able to come last minute. When I said we had a change and could take any room available. They were eventually able to put us in our room. They gave us 5000 Hilton points credit for the "inconvenience" which is about $25. What would be better is to make sure other families aren't expected to wait an hour past check in simply because they need an accessible room.

I was extremely disappointed with my family’s recent experience at this hotel. After a long drive, my young son used the bathroom, unaware that the energy-efficient toilet required holding the flush button down. He flushed multiple times without realizing it wasn’t draining properly. When I entered the bathroom shortly after to check for towels, I discovered the toilet had overflowed and was leaking into the room. I reported it immediately to the front desk. Initially, the attendant (Chasity) was apologetic and offered to move us once we vacated our things. However, when I returned later, her attitude shifted — she began chastising me, saying if she had known it was “our fault,” she wouldn’t have changed our room. I explained that I wasn’t aware of the issue at first and found it inappropriate for her to blame a child for something tied to poor toilet design. I was also told the room would now be “unusable,” which makes her earlier suggestion that we remain in it even more frustrating. To top it off, when I requested bedding for the pull-out bed, I was told to check the new room myself and come back — instead of being met with even basic hospitality. Overall, I felt disrespected and unwelcome. I do not recommend this hotel for families or anyone expecting thoughtful service.

Arriving at the hotel, it was difficult to find the check-in office. There was no parking or sheltered drop off area. It was extremely hot and I was traveling with a pet, alone. There was a charge for parking and I wasn't aware of that when I made reservation. $10 a night which is ridiculous. The luggage carts were only located at one entrance. I was traveling with my cat, who is heavy. Litterbox is also heavy and bulky. Even when made aware of my situation, the staff didn't offer to deliver a luggage cart to the entrance I needed to go through. The person who checked me in tried to charge me again for the cost of my stay. The 2nd staff member had to help him undo his mistake which took a lot of time, while other people were waiting to be checked in and my cat sat in a hot car. Since there is no parking spaces outside check in area, it became congested and driveway was blocked so a person had to move their car and turn around and come back. There are no ice machines on the property . The ice maker in my frig freezer was turned off. When turned on, I got 5 small cubes of ice. That was it until the next day. It was 24 hours before it started really making ice. The breakfast was ok. Powdered eggs, reheated frozen potatoes. I was expecting more. Decent beer but cheap wine was served at reception. Not very tasty cheap wine either.

I didn’t like the parking fee. Parking should be included as a courtesy to stay at the hotel . I Would choose a hotel in the area with free parking instead of staying there, this became another expense.

We had 2 rooms. Room #1 the bathroom did not flush. Room #2 The bedding was saturated in urine. I have no clue how that was missed by housekeeping! Dirty socks were left in the room also. Overall, the hotel looked unkept. One more thing, a $10.00 per car parking fee!!! I definitely will not stay at this hotel again!

Emma was great and patient with checking us in!! also, we were able to upgrade our room to accommodate our large group. Initially, our door key wouldn’t work. There was a housecleaning or maybe even maintenance gentlemen (older, african american) who was willing to go back to our room to manually let us in but the key ended up working. The room was very clean! We would stay again. Thank you!!

Overall this is a nice hotel, but I was put off by the new pay for parking policy. They even charge a service charge on top of the parking fee. I won't stay here again because of the parking fees.

Really great spot for the whole family. Large suites were nice. Staff was awesome. Stephanie was A and deserves a raise. Only downside was room smelled like someone had just cooked Chinese food in it but only a minor annoyance. All in all great spot and the breakfast was really good too.

There were several items of concern --- The ironing board was broken. We were told that there was an on/off control for the ice maker in the refrigerator. There were markings, but there was no lever or other control mechanism to actually control the ice maker. It's probably still cranking out ice. A parking fee was recently initiated. This information should be imparted to visitors before they make reservations. Apparently, your WIFI does not work with recent Mac computers due to lack of security. This too should be made known to visitors who might have such computers. The receptionist said she was aware of the problem and apologized for my not having internet access. The television did not work properly. When I called the front desk, the receptionist suggested that I use the other remote. There was no other remote. One was brought to the room and the TV worked for a while. It later proceeded to not work again, with the screen freezing one one of the streaming channels and the volume control not working at all. A maintenance man was called, but said he was unable to fix the problems. One of these problems might have been annoying. All of them together made for a less-than-pleasant stay. Dwight Davis

Pros: Spaciousness of rooms and friendly front desk staff. Cons: There were inexcusable gross red stains on the bed, carpet, and drapes. Walls were paper thin and you could hear people talking, playing TV, and trucks on hwy. Very thin uncomfortable pillows. Breakfast was severely lacking. We wouldn’t stay here again.
