The front desk staff person was excellent and very competent. She was basically running the entire hotel by herself. The maintenance staff were non-existent and of little assistance for a broken TV and the request of a rollaway bed.

We booked this place because it was the cheapest place with in 25 miles of the north shore of MN. Holy cow was that a bad choice. The room was supposed to be a non-smoking room with 2 queen beds. The problem was who ever was in the room before us left cigarette ash on the window sile. Also the bathroom door had 2 punched out holes in it. and the A/C unit didn't work. Too make matters whose the pool area smelled like mold and the whole property looks the owners haven't spent any money on up keep since 2009.

Liked the breakfast, room was good. Coffee maker had water and mold in it but was replaced quickly. Internet was down when at arrival and could not connect, available wifi did not even register on phone, only downfall

AC did not work ... they fixed it and then broke again... TV did not work, shower hot - cold did not work well..... no stopper in shower.... no elevator.... Parking lot was in fair condition.... Breakfast was very minimal...but the room was clean. $110 sadly does not get you much.

Good price. Comfortable bed. Lots of traffic noise and guest noise most of the night. Shower water wouldn’t turn on.

They double booked my room causing a long delay at check-in. Room TV not functional, more delay fixing it. Bed uncomfortable. Property run down. Breakfast wasn't great either.

The Hotel had extension cords running down our hall the whole length of our stay with fans or something going in other rooms. The parking lot definitely needs a major renovation. Our bathroom had a terrible odor to it. To me it smelt like cat pee. My family thought a mix of cat pee and nody odor. The vent in the bathroom was very dirty and dusty. There was rust all over. My husband and my daughter both got shocked by the light switch.

Perfect location price and personal were excellent. The first impression of the property however is not good due to weeds grass etc around the area that needs much attention

I would never stay in an Econo Lodge again. The outside of the hotel looked shabby as did the inside. It looked nothing like the pictures. The beds were okay but the noise in the hallway kept me awake. People talking, arguing, and slamming doors. When we first arrived, I noticed that there was no hand soap and the internet didn't work. When I spoke to the woman at the front desk, she said someone forgot to order the soap and they had been having trouble with the internet. She was pleasant enough and it wasn't her fault but there was still no soap or internet. They fixed the internet by our second day. They had hard boiled eggs and waffles but no scrambled eggs, omelets, sausage, or bacon. I would not recommend this hotel.

Ok for the price. Parking lot is still a disaster. Wi-Fi wasnt working the first day. Hot tub wasnt full enough so the water was at my waist when seated and the jets werent fully under the water. Girl at the front desk didn't seem to give a crap about anything. Last year we stayed there and there was a water main break so no running water. Big inconvenience but they offered a significant discount. I ended up getting about $20 back. So i likely will not stay here again.

The staff was very nice. The breakfast was decent. The hotel is not in good repair. Pool was cloudy. Air conditioner filter and bathroom filter were very dirty. Strange smell like wet dog in the very humid room. Pillows were flat. Rust in the bathroom ceiling. Grounds look very bad. One washer and one dryer were out of order. Overall, a very disappointing hotel.

The pool was nice, however the outside area was sketchy and looked rundown. The flooring was nice, good choice they made to take out the carpet and putin wood floors.

The property smelled like weed, the front desk guy was smoking a bowl when we walked up, the room was dirty, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, there were only a few towels given, our keys didnt work on the exterior doors. I wouldnt recommend anyone stay here.

The entire building was unkept, weeds surrounded the building, flowers all dead and always unsafe and falling apart. The hallways smelled like urine. Rooms were not clean nor maintained. Ceiling had water stains, no carpet but flooring coming apart. Beds were awfully hard and uncomfortable. Missing tiles. We left the day we got there even though we paid. They refused to refund us. Front desk staff were high as a kite and did nothing to help us.
