We visited May 2025 right after the new renovations and construction. However, that did not take away from the property. We loved all of the upgrades! It’s a beautiful place very convenient to almost anything on a beach front!

Access to property amenities and other facilities

Front desk staff were not that friendly. Parking charges are too high. I was charged $75 for a 12-13 hours stay. Extra charge just because I retrieved the car after 1 hour of standard check out time.

The hotel is in the process of remodeling. Looks great. I was not aware of the $34 per night resort fee before booking. There is a $17 credit per day if you purcase a food or drink purchase of more than $17 per day. The fee also inclused 2 beach chair rentals so I am not complaining just letting everyone know. Parking is only by Valet and since I had rented a SUV...my total for only staying 2 days was $145.84 including parking fee, service fee and sales tax. Steps away from the beach and Bubba Gump shrimp is located right down stairs so you can't go wrong.

Property is always in good shape. Though there was construction at the facility the staff still made sure the inside of the property was clean

Great location. Everything was perfect but we were missing the option of having coffee and water available in the lobby. The front desk staff was amazing. The breakfast which we paid with the room was great but the restaurant staff could be more friendly. Also we got charged for the breakfast at the checkout when I checked my receipt but that was fixed, just waiting to see if the charges were reversed on my credit card.

We had a wonderful day! Great staff and amazing amenities, close to the beach, and easy to get around! Definitely going back!

Hidden fees not revealed by Expedia on their total package come-on advertisement. Property photos and site details do not address extensive ongoing renovations. Then have the audacity to charge my bank account $36.38 per day property usage fee without notification or written billing. Underhanded money grabbing.

I was trapped in the elevator and had to climb out to safety. Never would I imagine this at a Marriott. No one came to address the issue, but we rather had to complain to them regarding it. They also had construction going on and it was very noisy when trying to relax by the pool. They were working right above the pool, making us scared something would fall on us. The room also promised water view and we were not given a beach facing room. They also present a $34 USD fee in a way that doesn’t seem like you will be charged and then they proceed to charge you, without providing the amenities for it. We ended up buying things like water because they never provided it to us, but charged us daily for it. The staff cleaned the room once on our 4 night trip, even when we had left the room for entire days to come back to dirty towels. When checking out, they almost didn’t apply our “discount” on the dining, and almost got away with charging us an extra $50 USD until we confronted them. Overall a very poor experience. Unsafe, loud, and very poor customer service.

Loved everything about this place

The construction took away from relaxation and there was so many construction employee it felt uncomfortable and things weren't labeled, but this is just a rating during the time I was there. Also the website said self parking or valet and when I arrived, I was informed there's only valet.

I have 3 stars for property condition because a portion of the hotel is under construction, which is something we did not know. The fitness center was not available due to the construction. But they did wait until 9/10am before starting work.

Great place to stay for a couple or family right on the beach! Lots of food options and shopping near by. Transportation is easily accessible whether its Uber or golf cart rides.

Hotel is close to a variety of restaurants ans bars. You can walk to the beach in less than two minutes.

It wasn't describe that the hotel is under remodeling!

We were so relieved to be able to check in early after returning from our cruise—especially since we were worried we'd be stuck waiting around all afternoon with our luggage. It was such a treat to relax right away! The beds and pillows were by far the most comfortable we had during our entire trip. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated—clean, modern, and very inviting. Even though there was some construction happening during our stay, it was handled so well that it never interfered with our experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect—close to the beach and everything we needed. We’ll definitely stay here again whenever we’re back in Fort Lauderdale. Honestly, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
