Rooms are tiny and old so be ready for that! Location cannot be better. Very close to great bakeries and shops. Also if you want to get a canal view, don’t stay on the top floor because you won’t see any canals.

Great stay

Fantastic hotel- beautiful decor and service was excellent! Great walkabity in the center of Amsterdam, shopping, sight seeing and restaurants very close. Restaurant in the hotel is also quite good as well- definitely recommend the breakfast but dinner was great as well. You will be very happy with your choice if you stay at The Hoxton!

I like they have warm drying rack. Friendly staff as well as houskeeping. The only slight disadvantage is a small steps/stairs going into the hotel lobby and no hotel staff to take our luggage from hotel front.

My room was very clean and quiet. The staff was helpful and answered all my questions.

Lovely little hotel in 9 street area. Cozy room with view was super cute.

It felt a little too crowded and noisy in the main spaces and they should have dedicated areas like a lounge only for hotel guests.

The location was PERFECT. You get around to everywhere by walking. The staff was amazing and the rooms were a great size (by European standards)

Wonderful place to stay. Away from the crowds, but close enough to walk to everything. Staff goes out if their way to make sure your stay great!!

Overall good. Disappointed though to have communicated numerous times prior to my arrival asking for an early check-in (willing to pay $$) and a welcome surprise for my husband’s birthday…they said they had it noted & a treat would be in the room for him, etc. Nothing! Also I paid more for a roomy room with a view…it was a maze to get to it, nothing special. Had to carry our heavy luggage through steps up and down because there was no lift in the area of the room they gave us.
