This hotel is just really great!

The room we booked through you, wasn't what we got....we booked a room with a balcony, we got just a regular room....this is the 2nd time booking through y'all that this gas happened....poor

very nice remodeled hotel. rooms was extremely clean and spacious. lobby was clean quiet and balconies for atrium view was a definite plus must have.

Hotel is in a mid-construction condition. Walls are patched and unpainted, area around the hotel have heavy equipment lying around. The hotel charged 40 dollars to park... for a night and the price was basically hidden on the website, rather than clearly differentiating between this hotel and others. That's worse than Disney prices. The hotel is at the wrong end of river street, about 2 blocks past river street walk, and the balcony views are of the construction area and the tiny pool which was smaller than a residential. The room stay was a sub-standard experience. The room was clean, but the bathroom toilet was so loud, it scared me when I first flushed and the lock on the balcony door was broken. Stay was just, not great, not necessarily bad, but not even as good as a holiday inn express for the price.

The korean lady was very kind to me and helped me when the room was late. Although it was frustrating at the moment, the customer service was outstanding. Shout out to her for making my parents feel inclusive and welcome.

The Desk Staff at this location was top notch! Very nice and helpful.

Shockingly Dirty Room – Not What You Expect from a Marriott We were extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of our room at the Marriott Savannah Riverfront. Upon arrival, the room had a strong, unpleasant odor, and it only got worse as we looked around. There was vomit under one of the tables, fingernail clippings on and inside multiple tables, and pubic hair covering the bottom of the shower. Even more disturbing, there appeared to be bodily fluids smeared on the bathroom wall. This level of filth is completely unacceptable, especially from a Marriott-branded property. It was clear the room had not been properly cleaned or inspected before our stay. We did not feel comfortable or safe, and it seriously impacted our trip. The location is great and the lobby is attractive, but that doesn’t make up for the lack of basic hygiene in the room. I hope management takes this seriously and makes major changes.

Very nice staff. Very accommodating and helpful every time I talk with them. That all said, this property is very tired. There have been some paint and patches done, but overall it is in dire need of reconditioning. On top of that, the Security in this facility isn’t the best. There was no card swipe needed to get from the parking area up to my room floor. The deep pocketed owners of this building, need to spend some dollars on more than just their people. As mentioned the staff was phenomenal. The facility was definitely in need of substantial capital improvements. The staff has done all they can to maintain the building, but just like the New York City slum, this building needs the landlord to put money into it.

The property is a little dated but overall experience was amazing! The location and staff was great! Rooms were clean but had some defects. I liked that we could wake up with river views. Recommend renovating the rooms to keep up with usage. Food was delicious and was thankful they had an EV charging station. Ana was a staff member who was knowledgeable and help to get the check in line down because it was packed. She showed a great attitude and handled things with grace. Give her a promotion please! :)

Excellent River view. Bar and food very good. Facilities cleanliness excellent. My bed was so comfortable.

Water pressure was good. No fans in room so room gets hot even when AC set at lowest setting. Beds were OK not super comfy at all. Parking is $40 a day billed to your room. Parking spaces are too small and my car was dented by someone parking too close. Paid for a room with a balcony, only to arrive and be told they were overbooked and they wanted to send me to another hotel. I did not get the room with a balcony.

This property was perfect for our trip to Savannah. Right on the waterfront with a brick path for walking. It’s also a short walk to one of the stops on the hop on hop off trolley. The property & staff are wonderful. Beds are comfy & rooms are cozy. We enjoyed our stay.

We had an interior balcony room, and it was beautiful! We watched the ships go by, and the morning light through the atrium was lovely. It was a very busy Memorial Day weekend, and the staff were excellent. Everything was clean, and the pool was a nice cool down at the end of a hot day.
