Amazing vacation!!! Will be back!

We liked most things but since we stayed there before, two years ago, the hotel has introduced Adult deluxe rooms and areas and facilities that were not available to all which we did not know about beforehand and, indeed, we did not really approve of.

The resort and staff were wonderful. All do the restaurants on site were amazing.

Everything was perfect!!!!

Watermark was great for 5 year old. Baby room was good for the Little one

The resort is fabulous, everything within easy reach, an app to book restaurants and plenty of pools and dining options. The spa is also excellent offering lots of treatments. An absolutely amazing resort with everything you could possibly want

We stayed at the Creta Maris hotel as the third leg in our Greece trip. We took the ferry from Santorini and it was about a 45 minute cab ride from the port. I would try to arrange transportation through the hotel beforehand so you can get picked up without lining up for a cab. The resort is huge, beautiful and well-maintained. There are multiple pools, bars, a la carte and buffet restaurants since it is all-inclusive. The main pool and adults-only pool were right next to the beach. There are rocks so I would bring water shoes for the beach. There are a lot of young families so I am glad we booked the adults-only room / area as we were not travelling with children. You need to get and install the Creta Maris app which I did beforehand. However, I had to email the hotel to get a code to activate the booking system. As you need to book the day before starting at 8:00 am for the a la carte restaurants on the app, this was a bit tricky. It would be helpful if the resort had a waiting list as some people don’t show up for their reservations. We really enjoyed the food at the main buffet restaurant. The bars in the central area were great with beautiful sea views but it was sometimes difficult to get a seat. The resort has some entertainment but nothing like the broadway-style shows we have seen on cruise ships. We had a great few days at the Creta Maris resort but wish we’d been able to stay a few days longer.

Everything was perfect. I would just recommend a few things for the hotel 1. Have water stations by pools. It's very hot and we shouldn't be waiting in line for 10 minutes just to get water 2. You need more staff around the bar if the hotel is busy. I shouldn't wait 15 mins to get a drink. 3. The water in the pools is very cold and wasn't too enjoyable. 4. There should be more beer options on the all inclusive menu 5. The restaurants in the hotel should be accepting guests based on empty spaces and should be able to go every night and not one restaurants per week. If it is all inclusive I should be able to go to a restaurant as many times as I want during my stay and it shouldn't be through the app. 6. There should be a snack bar or even a few with real snacks, like sandwiches and crisps and chocolate. These are just some ideas so make the place even more perfect Thanks for everything

Overall, we had a lovely time – a much-needed, relaxing family vacation that allowed us to recharge. The hotel is beautifully designed like a Greek village, charming and pleasant to walk around. There are plenty of pools, so there’s no need to fight over sunbeds by the main pool. The staff was (mostly) friendly, and the hotel itself is very clean, well-kept, and nicely maintained. The biggest downside for us was the food, which was, to put it mildly, not tasty. It’s honestly surprising that even something as simple as an omelet could turn out poorly… To be frank, this really affected our experience, especially since we couldn’t leave the hotel to eat elsewhere and had paid a significant amount to enjoy the “all-inclusive” package. The à la carte restaurants were somewhat better, but it was very frustrating to have to wake up early just to book a spot through the app in order to secure a place at the better ones. Another point that could be improved is the afternoon activities for kids – there weren’t enough engaging options to keep them entertained during those hours. That being said, the hotel itself is beautiful and relaxing, and we truly enjoyed the atmosphere, the pools, and the overall family time together. With improvements in the food and children’s activities, this could easily become a perfect vacation spot.

The best food in an all inclusive hotel that I think you will find in Crete. Every restaurant is actually special in its own way, and the service is exceptional. Will probably be back again sometime soon!

We love this place! 2nd time staying and it was just as good. Perfect for families, lots of pools and snack bars. The buffets and al a carte restaurants are all top notch. We’ll be back!

I loved every bit of my stay. From the staff to the services were all great. I would only suggest that the housekeepers do a more thorough job when cleaning the rooms. Overall my stay was great

We loved our stay. However the cleaning of the rooms weren’t 5 standard.

We had a brilliant 8 nights at Creta Maris. It’s a beautiful resort with fantastic facilities. Staff were all very friendly although service in restaurants could be a little slow at times. We were upgraded to adult area rooms luckily as sun beds by the pool were a scarce resource unless you were willing to reserve them by around 7.30am every morning. I imagine it was much worse in the normal area. Evenings were very relaxed, not much in the way of entertainment, we did enjoy an evening at the outdoor cinema however. One area i was disappointed in was the gym. Equipment was ok if a little dated but it lacked space and i really wouldn’t expect a gym in a 5 star resort to be open to local weight lifters. The gym supervisor even commented that we were the only holiday makers in the gym at that time, it was 5pm in the evening! Overall we had a lovely time and would definitely go back but only if we could get rooms in the adult area again.

Best vacation ever. We definitely will be back.

Deluxe ocean view was only visible from the patio. We killed 17 mosquitoes the first night to clear the room. Property was gorgeous and amenities were always around. Cleanliness of other guests were not so clean. Guests would leave trash and cigarette butts around for staff to clean up.
