First room: TV did not work; AC had fan on HI even when turned off! Desk clerk tried to fix both then gave us a different room. Second room: TV worked but AC didn’t. Shower temp didn’t adjust. Bath exhaust fan sometimes worked with switch, other times didn’t shut off with switch

The Front desk graciously provided an early check-in at 11am. After an early start and lengthy drive, it was very appreciated.

The renovation of the property is great except…our room was renovated but…they didn’t put in a new toilet or tub which would be so much better if it was a shower. The toilet was dirty and had either not been cleaned properly or was stained, very old and ran a long time after flushing as well as at random times. Why renovate and not replace the items that are past their time. We were disappointed!

Good place for a short stay with our dog- nice outdoor space.

They were short staffed so we couldn’t check-in. They said they would call and no call. Customer service was poor and bathroom was dirty with hair everywhere. There was a bag chips broken up in front of the door.

Property is a little tired. Staffing is marginal.

Beautiful hotel and very accommodating staff

quite overpriced given that no breakfast comes with a pretty basic room. parking near the highway with unsavory people walking by. would not stay again-other properties offer better value

We love our annual one night stay in The Dalles and will stay here every year from here on out.

The good: rooms were clean, plenty of parking, good view of the dam and sunrise, great blackout curtains, ac worked (though noisily), room had a mini fridge and microwave, coffee maker and a few pods. Very kid friendly place - we didn’t get try the pool because it was too cold for our liking but we saw several families out there for a bit. There’s a few really nice looking fire pits with chairs all around and a grill to use as well. The bad: our room was right next to a hallway door and all night long it was very loudly slamming shut from other guests, waking us up repeatedly. A slow close door is a simple fix that would’ve made our stay a solid 5 stars! Our bathroom fan didn’t work. Definitely not a huge issue but when staying in a small room with 4 people, it’s noticeable when its not there. There is no elevator and they had no ground floor rooms available, even for a disabled guest checking in before us. Check in was sloooooow. One person working for a 4pm check in is just not enough. Overall our stay was fairly pleasant and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again for the price we paid.

Does not have breakfast included, this is one of the main reasons I went with this site. The first room we were given had no shower curtain in it and fire alarm was chirping in the hallway. The area around the hotel by the river has homeless people camping out and there was a lot of broken glass everywhere.

A great place but no elevator.

Staff was very attentive and went above and beyond. Room was very large and accommodating. The restaurant staff was very helpful and the food was very good. We could not use the pool due to weather but it looked inviting and clean. Plenty of parking and a quiet location on the edge of town. Will stay here again on our next visit.

The room was great, parking was easy, front desk staff was friendly and check in was easy. The best park of this hotel was the dining room and the staff! Food was awesome, bartender made a mean Old Fashioned!

The view to the river is amazing, peaceful.
