Visiting family in Hainan. The hotel was comfortable and the room was very big! The one complaint I have about the room was the slow toilet flush - it seemed a bit finicky. The area didn't have a lot around it - had a few restaurants, and one or two convenience stores nearby. Staff were very helpful.

The hotel is very nice, and the staff do make an effort to make sure you are comfortable. Though, only a few of the staff spoke English.

We stayed in a family room and added a rollaway bed for additional fee. Room was still relatively spacious. Hotel staff were friendly and serviced quite well. Hotel facilities was great. Hotel was in business district and not a lot of shopping malls. Some good restaurants located on streets south of the hotel. Not close to the beach or historical areas, must take taxis or public transportation.

First off Hainan is a tourist spot for Chinsee nationals. Having said that the staff were very friendly and made the effort to help out westerners who could not speak chinese. The food was good and catered more to the domestic crowd so if you are adventurous meals are fun. I was the for business and would go again

Great hotel in Haikou - very clean, great breakfast, and great location. Would definitely recommend to business or casual travelers.

Appreciate the upgrade to fit extra bed and enjoyed our stay. Just 10 min walk to eating places, fruit and vegetable market. Only issue was taxi called by hotel - dropped us at Domestic instead of International airport despite given destination in Mandarin. We had to drag our luggage 100m to the terminal.

We found a hot pot buffet at a near by restaurant because we saw the huge banner of the restaurant from our hotel room. We could even buy a china sim card at a road side stall across the hotel but you need to be able to converse in mandarin. We paid cny 780 a night excluding breakfast which I think is pricy for Haikou. Whereas we paid only 602 cny a night including breakfast for 2 at a 4 star resort in Sanya.

The surroudnings are cleaner & tidier than I expected. It is not close to the old district where the historical relics are located. But this also means it is not packed with tourists, which is what I like most. Moreover, it is close to the green belt along the seaside that is perfect for morning joggers.

The hotel is what a tired traveller would expect. The bed was comfortable, the shower head was up to standard, and most importantly, the internet was available without additional charges. The business centre was also very helpful if you need to print out but the cost is there. The foot massage was excellent too. Just great after a hard day's of negotiations. The lobby restaurant - Chatterbox, does need to improve on its service and attention to customers. Staff were absent minded and seemed more concerned about their staff meeting at 4pm than serving the guests. Had to wait long for setting up a table for a group of 9 and we DIY a bit. Also utensils and water were missing/not served until asked. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience in the hotel. I will use it again in the future.

I used visit Hainan before and stayed several hotels. Half of them just so so the others satisfied me sometimes. This hotel is one of the other and let me take a good rest in Hainan. Thanks

I just needed a hotel for an overnight layover in Haikou on my way to Hong Kong. The hotel was great (especially by Chinese standards), but it was a long way from the airport, adding on quite a bit of cab fare costs for a very short (5 hour) stay. Staff were fabulous, especially considering I arrived at 1:00 am. The room exceded by expectations after traveling through other more rural provinces in China.
