I needed a last minute booking. The room was $70. The building is pretty beat up, but the room was clean, except that a previous guest appears to have ripped the smoke detector out of the ceiling. Oh, and one of the smoke detectors in the hallway outside the room needs a new battery and is beeping. I let the front desk clerk know. We'll see if she does anything about it. Also there are a lot of signs in the parking lot saying they are not responsible for automobile theft or damage. We'll see if my car is still there in the morning.

The floor in our room was filthy.our 1 year old was filthy after crawling for 5 minutes. The toilet would not flush unless you took the back of the tank off and jiggled the valve. The bathroom door knob was broken and there was a whitish coagulated substance on the door trim that may or may not have been tooth paste. The property is in poor overall condition. There is no elevator and was given a room on the third floor. Hair on the wall of the shower. Never again at the Super 8.

It took me 30 minutes to get anyone at the front desk to check in. I even called the hotel and no one answered. I’m not sure where she was. Then 30 minutes later she comes to the front desk. Then there was cockroaches in our room.

Traveled to Joplin for a family member’s funeral. Customer service was amazing. I had to wash the tub before using it since there was short black hair. Pink mold that I had to clean up. Other guest were hanging out in the hallway. Every loud until 1am. They all woke up at 6am. The queen bed was sunken in.

The complimentary breakfast was horrible, cold premade eggs, muffins...... They couldn't setup the waffle machine batter because they didn't have enough guests. No fruit, only yogurt. The beds were not comfortable, the room smelled of mildew.

The room we stayed in was dirty. I told the front desk that they needed to work on their housekeeping . Dust was everywhere and the corners of the floors were yucky. Would not have passed the white glove test at all.

The floor in our room was in bad condition, it was warped like from water damage. And we had booked a room with king size memory foam mattress- which we didn’t get, and we were supposed to have a personal hot tub in our room-which we didn’t didnt get. We tried to watch tv but have to sign in/up for services that we don’t want-which is crappy. What happened to just being able to watch regular tv without having to sign up for special features. Very frustrating!!

Beds are very uncomfortable. Cannot block out the lighting from outside, so if you like a dark room this is not the place to stay. You can hear the freeway traffic all night long.

The tv remotes didn’t work well and the AC unit smelled bad and took a very long time to cook the room down. Very musty smell. We had room 115 and the outside door everyone was using was very loud. The hinges would slam shut and wake us up everytime
