Average hotel, having to pay for parking in the hotel car park as a guest over the weekend in a location such as this is ridiculous and for that reason we won’t stay there again.

Standard hotel nothing wrong, good staff. But £8 parking when you're a guest seems a bit off

A good sized room that was comfortable for us and our small dog. Food was delicious and service excellent- staff were very helpful at all times.

Super friendly and welcoming reception team, speedy check in and explained parking was discounted to £8 for guests. Lovely atrium, and room was a good size, with two double beds and still loads of space for a cot and desk etc. The only negative thing was that the shower curtain smelt foul, and the pillows were very soft which just wasn’t to our preference. The breakfast was very good - huge selection to choose from and all seemed fresh with a nice selection of juices too. Again the staff were brilliant. The pool and gym were also good, and the changing rooms were immaculate. There was also a steam room and jacuzzi which we didn’t use but looked great. My son found a bit of glass in the pool which when we told the leisure colleague, he didn’t seem too concerned which was slightly worrying.

We had a great stay here over the weekend. Couldn’t really fault anything at all? Think the breakfast is a little over priced though at £17.00 each and if we started again certainly wouldn’t opt for this inclusion.

Was a short break with the family. Was a nice hotel, breakfast was lovely with staff very helpful. Only thing was you now have to pay if you want an omelette !!! Car park was also to be paid for even though belonged to the hotel which I find a bit much too. Comfortable clean hotel

Ignored by reception, room wasn’t what was booked, food ordered was over cooked, told by reception that rooms are ‘a lucky dip’. I will not be back….id go anywhere else, double tree is to be avoided. Premier Inn couldn’t be worse!

Shower head was dirty and despite paying for breakfast on check in I was harrassed multiple times during breakfast saying that it hadn’t been included. They’d used the payment to cover room service without saying anything which made it confusing for all and a stressful start to the day! Will not be staying there again.

We booked here on our way home from Cornwall to break up the journey. The room was ok ish but there were a few discrepancies which for a hotel of this calibre were not acceptable. The mattress was not fit for purpose and should have been removed a long time ago. The lounge area was extensive but the chairs were more for lounging not eating and bearing in mind the restaurant wasn’t available and bar food was all that was on offer a few more suitable chairs for eating would be a good idea. Definitely wouldn’t be our first choice of hotel anymore. If you need to stay in the area visit the hotel directly opposite - outstanding.

It is a functional hotel but the service is very poor. It feels like Ryanair, relatively cheap room but other facilities like parking is expensive and they are definitely not very friendly. It is a group hotel and several groups joined yesterday. There are so many nicer hotels in Bristol, so never again
