Not the resort luxury level we anticipated. More fitting to cruise ship motel 6 resort style. We booked a suite and the view was literally eye level to the guests getting in and out of the pool so we couldn't sit outside and enjoy the view until after the pool was closed unless we wanted to invite them into our convo. We thought that being on the second floor this would be an issue and then tried to request to be moved but the only room available on the 4th floor could not be released to us since apparently it was not in the 1 bedroom suite level category. Also note they are under renovations so walking in and out of the hotel is a bit tricky and at night they padlock (yes old school style) the gate from the Mallory Square side so you end up walking into the alley and via the parking garage to access your room. This is important if you book dinner on the island at Latitudes. Also, watch the concierge services, the pricing they quote you is not the all in rates, but you don't find that out till they charge your credit card. Transparency is not a thing, we saw our card charged for an extra $600 and ended up requesting a cancellation to which we were also told would be very difficult for them to process - till I told them I could just call Amex and reverse it and wowzers all of a sudden we had the refund. I don't know about you but for us this is not going to be a repeat visit to this property.
