The hotel staff was excellent any time we had a question or request. The hotel is located right across the tourist information center and really central to all the shops by the pier. The area does get busy when there are cruise ships in port but we used those days to go explore elsewhere. The daily breakfast has a good selection of food to choose from and if you are departing early will provide you a box to take it with you.

A very nice property with excellent staff in the heart of Bergen. Good value for the price. Thankful for that as prices for everything else quite compared to Canadian prices. Great holiday and two night stay.

Very nice property. Great location. Stayed at a Superior Twin Room. Nice size but not a lot of storage space. The views out of our window were magnificent.

Great location, comfortable, large bedroom & would recommend the breakfast. A nice spread of buffet options and hot food. Also just a minute from the ferry fjord cruise we booked.

Nice property if a bit worn. Really appreciated the double pane windows which helped keep things quiet given that we were right on the port. Overall a nice hotel.

Fabulous breakfast bar! The location was ideal for tourists. My only complaint would be the tiny bathrooms and shower. The corner shower didn't seal properly so water would go everywhere. I'm American so I may be just used to bigger rooms and showers though. Overall though, I would come back. Actually this was already my 2nd stay there.

good size room, comfortable beds. Right on the harbor which was a great location. However, the shower did not drain well and there was water all over the floor. We finally rolled up towels to keep it from getting everywhere. It had a fridge and safe.

Room a bit small but they all are in Scandinavia. But very clean and well organized. We only spent one night so just needed a place to crash; bed and sofa bed for 4 nicely made. The highlight is really the breakfast buffet. I have to say it is the best of all breakfast buffets I’ve had, including at American hotel executive lounges.

The room has 'only bed', nothing else. There's NO water bottle, cup, coffee/tea, electric kettle...literally nothing in the room (285 US dollar per night). You need to go down to lobby to take a cup of water or coffee. If you plan only 1 night, sleep and go early next day, it may be not a problem, but uncomfortable and unpleasant for 3 nights. I requested electric kettle to take hot water at room (I bought water for myself). First night, no response. 2nd night, apologized all kettles ran out, 3rd night, they brought one finally.

Great location and breakfast

I would not stay here ever again. No room for luggage, no luggage rack or table. Bathroom very small with NO ROOM FOR TOILETRIES, dining limited, NOISE ALL NIGHT INTO THE MORNING WITH YELLING AND SINGING, room too warm, elevator very slow. Staff would not accommodate to upgrade. Positive note, close to harbor and a Starbucks. I would not recommend.

Brilliant location in the middle of Bergen. Staff were really friendly.

Breakfast was fantastic. But, the street in front was too noisy at night (our window overlooked the harbor) and it kept waking us up despite that we closed the window.

Room was spacious with lovely harbour views. But not enough lights to go round the room. Bteakfast was excellent. Location was very good as everything were within walking distance.
