The property is fine. The STAFF especially valet is NOT! One late night someone was in the hallway fight front desk offered to move us but it’s 3AM! Wouldn’t it make sense to remove the disturbance? Valet is a COMPLETE ripoff! Apparently some say $30 others say $40. Valet fees only cover you from 4pm-10am then you’re charged AGAIN! When I asked the front desk about this I was brushed off and told it’s handled through a 3rd party and she has nothing to do with it. Valet threatened to call hotel security simply because he didn’t want to answer my questions. Security at the SAME Hotel who told me they didn’t have anything to do with it! The Hotel is runner by KIDS! Literally! Should have went across the street to Westin!

Sadly we didn’t have the best experience during our stay this time. The room was extremely hot and the ac seemed like it wasn’t working. You could visibly see mold in the shower and hairs from the last time someone used it before us. We were also woken up at 2am by people screaming at each other in the hallway (which I know isn’t the hotels fault, but it went on for quite a while). 3 stars because the staff was great and the bed was comfortable and everything but the shower was clean

Hotel Indigo Detroit – A Great Stay in the Heart of the City I had an excellent experience at Hotel Indigo Detroit. The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the location and quality of service. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my stay. What really stood out was the friendly and welcoming staff. From the receptionist to the bar hostess, everyone went out of their way to make sure guests felt at home. Their hospitality truly elevated the experience. The hotel is also in a prime location—just a short walk to the riverfront and close to many great restaurants and attractions. I fully recommend Hotel Indigo Detroit for anyone visiting the city. It’s a great mix of comfort, value, and exceptional service.

I love the decor of the hotel in the lobby and in the room. I was disappointed. Because of the lack of items I needed for the kitchen,such as soap paper towels and utensils. we had to change rooms because it rained in the a ac but they did move us.plus the fridge was warm. In the new room the water took forever to get hot I had a cold shower but it warmed up for my husband.All in all I will come back because I do like the decor and location and the cleanliness

Prompted and helpful. The only complaints I have is the room lighting and the shower was not very clean. I hate dark room! And the bathrooms in hotels are what makes the stay perfect when it’s clean

I checked-in in Detroit on June 21st and was going to stay the night and check out on the 22nd, but I did not end up staying. When I returned to my room, I took a video of a cockroach in my room and did not feel comfortable sleeping in my hotel room. I went down to the front desk and showed them the video, they gave me an email address (dwynn@hotelindigo.com) to send the video to for a refund, but I got an error message back. I reached out to a live agent via the website chat and explained the situation. They provided me with another email address to send the video to and let me know they have opened a case for me and provided the reference number 10569284743. Then I got another email asking me to explain... I'm done explaining. THERE WAS A COCKROACH WHAT MORE EXPLANATION DO YOU NEED!?!?! I just want a refund and I’m getting the runaround. I have had to explain what happened to 3 different people and I keep getting bounced around. Do not stay here.

Great location Our rooms was clean, check out was a breeze

It's was good overall besides trying to check in at 4pm as scheduled and walking into a line that wrapped around the lobby and went out the front door, took an hour to get through the line and another 30 mins for a room to be available. The lounge/ restaurant wasn't open either to get a drink otherwise it wouldn't have been so bad. But with everyone packed into the lobby waiting to be checked in and waiting for a room. Kinda put us into a bad feeling about the hotel.

Staff was nice. Room was as expected. Woyld stay again.

I loved the modern design of the rooms. The staff was also very helpful and accommodating. The air conditioner was very loud!! and outside partiers and cars could be heard quite easily. This was a super convenient hotel to stay at since I had business at the courthouse 1/2 block away.
