Loved it.

Our suite was exceptional, clean, spacious and nicely appointed. Location was awesome, close to Rue St Paul, shopping, dining, sightseeing very walkable from hotel! Nice cafe close by. Staff were very helpful. It was a wonderful anniversary stay!

We had high expectations for the Saint-Sulpice (my wife had stayed there a decade ago and had very fond memories), and while we had a beautiful room, certain flaws detracted from the experience. First, after a long day of travel, we wanted only to shower and get to sleep, but we discovered the shower was not draining, so rather than risk a flood or stand in soapy, dirty water, we had to ask for a staff member to attend to the problem at 8:30pm. They did so, and we were grateful, so at least they were responsive. Second, however, the room was not very clean -- fixtures smudged and greasy; cabinets in kitchenette marked with gray fingerprints; most surfaces grimy, from counters to tables to windowsills. Not what one would expect from a hotel of this caliber (and at this price). Also disappointing was the WiFi -- we tried to stream a program on our laptop, and got only the spinning wheel of death! On the upside, the staff were very nice, the breakfast was very good, and the location is wonderful. If the room, which was a 6th floor penthouse level, a spacious and light-filled apartment, had been fresh and clean, our stay would have been happily memorable. Oh, well.

Great hotel in beautiful old Montreal

Wonderful stay at this boutique hotel in the heart of Old Montreal! The beds are very comfortable. The Murphy bed in the living room was convenient and as comfortable as the bed in the separate room. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra special! They helped answer our many questions prior to arrival and provided some very helpful suggestions. It is steps away from a ton of restaurants and right beside the Notre Dame Basilica but very quiet and tucked away on a quaint street. I would highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed in a beautiful superior room with a separate bedroom. The kitchenette allowed us to keep leftover foods and later re-heat. Nice touch having proper dishes and cutlery on hand. Very safe area and just around the corner to the front of Notre Dame. Quick walk to coffee shop options and cute boutiques nearby. I look forward to returning and staying in this beautiful hotel with very helpful and friendly staff!

Great clean and modern hotel. Right in the old Montreal next to the cathedral. Lots of shops and bistros around, lots of restaurants and bars. The only thing to be aware is the street noise…. We kept the windows closed but was hard to sleep at night due to the constant street noise- people who are talking loud or cars driving by or kids screaming…

We were impressed with the staff. All made us feel welcome and were helpful.

Great location near Notre Dame. The concierge Sarah was excellent in helping us plan our activities. The room was modern and clean.

Wonderful location, staff and immaculate room with view. Walkable to the best of old Montreal. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was top tier. This lovely hotel and staff deserves10 stars!

Friendly service, easy to walk to everything

Great area to walk around ; close to cruise terminal . Was quite surprised that the $260 a night room ended up being $400 . Not sure how that happened - don’t think exchange rate changed much . Very nice hotel and great location !!

Hotel was lovely. Fit into the ambience of Old Montreal perfectly. Large rooms, comfortable beds and good amenities. Only Disappointment was perhaps the restaurant. Only ate at breakfast but tried to have dinner And we were only people there for our 7:00 Reservation. Breakfasts were good.

Did not like the breakfast….

Very nice reception staff, valet staf was also very nice. Loved the room layout especially the big windows looking out on the street. A couple of issues….the deep tub would have been awesome for those who like to bathe instead of shower…but we found it difficult to get in and out of especially with no handrail. Also the bed was not particularly comfortable, although the linens were very nice
