Beach and pool areas very well maintained. Room very comfortable, clean and had plenty of towels, hand towels, face cloths and bar well maintained. One comment our group found - portions of food, especially at the Steak House, was over whelming! One of the best meals was at the Mexican restaurant on our last night - right portions of food! Accommodated our group when 8-17 people would gather for dinner!

The beds need to be a lot bigger I didn’t sleep well all 6 nights. Both my daughters (3y&4y)fell off the bed during sleep cos the bed is way too small.the food was ok. The beach was amazing. The staff is super friendly. I might do it again if they upgrade their rooms.

The property is well located, and beautiful. The person at the front desk was very friendly and give us a very good information about the property and amenities. everyone was very friendly specially Ramiro the Bartender he was very friendly and professional remembering our drinks and have them ready for my wife and I. The Riu has great restaurants, the food is great in all of them, and the service is friendly and fast the food is delicious, one of our servers was Alondra also very nice and ready to help with a smile. hour room was very nice, clean and comfortable, we had a small issue but the front desk send the maintenance team and got it ready in a bit. Thank you to Amelia our housekeeper which leave a little towel shape animals that make my wife smille. In resumen our stay at the Riu was a great experience, we party, we rest and we had a great time We will definitely be back Thank you all

We had a great time. The food was great didn’t have a bad meal. The shows and entertainment were good but they didn’t speak a lot in English. Steak house service was amazing the buffets servers were just there. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be back!

The interior was clean and well kept, the grounds in the courtyard as well. However the pool was really dirty, inside and out, hairballs and garbage in the pool, it was warmer in the pool than outside as well. I went in once on day 1 and never went back in, spent rest of the week at the beach. I did not see the pool being cleaned at night or in the morning, as I have seen at all other resorts I have stayed at, and yes I was looking each am and pm! Beach was better as the entire ocean was cleaner and the water temperature better. The loungers and tables were super dirty though,very few staff on the beach or at the pool to keep either area clean, maybe saw 1 per time I was out, no servers either. At the beach when staff did come by they threw the contents of the cups and sometimes plates on the sand, so food, limes, fruit, liquids all in the sand. The entertainment was very good, but really too long, the white part was good, but again it was 4 hours long, it was nice to have things to do in the evening, but it felt really hectic and overstimulating….The buffet was great and so were restaurants, however they were also buffets, or partially buffer service. The Steak house was excellent, except for dinner, we all had steak and everyone on my party was sick that night and following day, not sure if it was salad, mozzarella sticks or the steak? We had a great time overall of course, but I am confident I won’t be back, to this location and possibly not to other Riu property.

Worst experience. Stay away from this line of hotel.

The entertainment throughout the day and night were amazing. There is always something going on and something for all ages. The staff were exceptional. A big shout out to all of them but especially Ramiro, Rafael, Angel, Manu and Ivan. I know I've missed a few and I apologize. We will definitely go back and will recommend this place to fruends and family.

My family and I stayed at RIU Jalisco for 8 nights and we never left it because you don't need to! They have food, drinks and entertainment all day long. Even though it is a big hotel, they ALWAYS have people working and cleaning and serving you. We were all really impressed! Shout-out to the Restaurant crew! Their never-ending work and delicious food were awesome! Another shout-out to the Entertainment team! This was our first RIU experience, and it was a fantastic one!

Loved the TRUE all-inclusive. Food was ok overall, not excellent but there was lots. Same goes for the drinks. Facilities are looking worn but that is why the hotel is closing this summer for 4 months to accommodate a full renovation. Rooms are ok. Not spectacular but clean and bathroom facilities work fine. What makes this hotel spectacular right jow is the activities. LOTS yo do during the day (volleyball, zumba, games, foam party...). Evening entertainment us OK... not spectacular but ok. The white party was AWSOME. I did not like the kids club (RiuLand) it requites parent participation for all kids (even 9, 19,11 ect year olds). The facilities are old and they lack age-appropriate entertainment. Most of the games are very childish so the older kids don't want to participate. It misses the idea of convenience so that parents can drop the kids off and have them enjoy and interact. I have been to other hotels (Melia, Dreams... and cruiselines like Holland America) where kids activities were much better. Alot of weirdos on thebeach in the evenings... there was a theft during the white party on Friday during our stay. I would call it a 3-star hotel at the moment.
