They were exceptionally accommodating! A vrbo fell through last minute, and I was able to book, arrive and check-in in 20 mins. I was given a generous room with a fantastic view of both Jersey City (Exchange Place) and lower Manhattan. Booking here in a pinch was worth it. I'll go back on purpose next time.

At hotel! Big spacious and clean room! It was quiet for a city. I had a wonderful view from the odd side of the building, where I saw Manhattan. It was gorgeous! The rooms temperature and temperature control was working well and easy to navigate. This is a great place to stay! 10/10 ! Will be staying here again

They are under stuff apparently. The check- in supposed to be at 4pm. Many other hotels also accept check in as early as 2pm. I had to wait for 2 hours more to check in at 6 pm!!! Terrible! Lack of total organization and responsibility!

There were still considerable renovations occurring throughout the hotel which were meant to be completed so moving around the hotel was problematic (eg, restaurant not operating, travelator to enter the building did not work the whole time and an elevator that was mean to be used instead was under repair for 2 days. Which meant that they opened a walkway to the main bank was of elevators which would have been preferable to use for the duration while the other amenities were inoperable. We stayed for 6 nights based upon many factors which included them having self service laundry services which they were shown to have according to their website (vague, but stated, ‘laundry services’) and google stating there was self service laundry) which was not the case at all. All they offered was a send out laundry service at the most exorbitant pricing I’d ever seen in my life). If you have young children who require clothing to be frequently laundered I’d definitely wouldn’t suggest staying here for any length of time. When I spoke to guest services regarding the laundry the woman was the rudest person I’d ever spoken to in a hotel. She was argumentative, told me that it was not their fault the information on google was not correct and not the hotel’s responsibility and repeatedly talked over the top of me and offered no help whatsoever. Based on this conversation alone, I would not recommend staying here. The staff do not care for their guests and it showed.

The view is excellent. Hotel is clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Only thing I missed was 24/7 coffee. Seems petty, but some people love waking up early and grabbing a cup. I don’t use the coffee machines in the rooms, so coffee in the lobby is welcomed.

Hotel was undergoing renovations so had parts of the lobby closed off ad well as had no lunch options nor in room dining. There was a fire alarm that went off on the Sat. Nt. of my stay. It was very disturbing & disruptive. Staff was non-apologetic & didn’t offer much guidance. Views & location are great.

First of all, the hotel was lovely inside and was a great location, we checked into the hotel for the Staten Island cruise port, we got woken up by the fire alarm at 2am, no one from staff was there to inform us what happened, in the morning the girl didn’t ask how our stay was and was very rude when we asked her were to go for something to eat, when we wanted a taxi from the hotel, the car staff at the bottom of the hotel said they would call one for us and they called Stephen’s taxis and charged us double what they said.

The most beautiful view and the staff very friendly and nice. Was a pleasure stay at this hotel and everything very close to walk around for a coffee, food, grocery store but the view just sitting in the lobby or outside is everything you need from New York. After two weeks in New York and only staying one night here my kids were the happiest to come home and still talking about the view from here.

We loved our stay at the Hyatt Regency. It is right next to the Path train station which is only one stop from the World Trade Center. There is a fabulous Diner (City Diner) which is a five minute walk and highly recommended. The room was fabulous with views across the water to the NYC and Empire State Building. The only downside to the room was there wasn't any black tea and milk. Great if you are a coffee drinker!! ;)

The hotel itself was renovated, clean, and the rooms were spacious. The view is amazing. I was disappointed in the service, however. Check in took longer than necessary as staff ignored us for several minutes while they chatted. Valet service was atrocious. They were understaffed, then refused to take our car insisting that we self-park off site and walk back to the hotel, despite it being late at night. To top it off they directed us to the WRONG parking garage where we could not get validated parking. Our stay was still enjoyable but this definitely cast a pall over the experience.

Great location and overall great hotel. My one complaint is that all the beds have lights underneath them that light up anytime someone walks by them. In the middle of the night if someone gets up the room lights up. And you can’t turn them off. We had someone come up and give us black tape to cover them up.
