I love this Hotel, It was my 3rd time visiting this hotel and we are making plans to back again . I love Catalonia Royal Tulum Hotel because it is not a very big resort and the atmosphere is very welcoming. All the staff is 5 stars. I want especially mention "Rosario" from Room service, her excellent attention, also I want to mention "Quetzabel" from the Buffet, she is fantastic!. Also Carmen from the Italian restaurant "Mamma Mia" her attention and the food was really great! I was in Catalonia hotel for 6 nights, I was there for my Birthday and I enjoy so much the neon Party with all guys of entertainment that did a great job all the days that I was there with my husband.

Dining could use some upgrades, beach full off seaweed although not you fault.

My stay was disrupted by ongoing construction in the same building, which started early in the morning and continued throughout the day — making it difficult to relax or sleep in. The staff seemed more focused on receiving tips than providing genuine service or attention to guests. Food options were very limited, and the snack bar closed at 6 PM. After that, your only option was dining by reservation at the specialty restaurant, which wasn’t always available or convenient. Not the experience I was expecting.

Great adults only resort. It was our anniversary trip and we had not been to an all inclusive since our honeymoon, 20 years ago. We thought the food was great, especially Mexican food. Staff were very friendly. Room was nice, really nice shower. We were there first week of July and the sargassum was bad all week except for one day, however the resort staff did any amazing job trying to keep it cleaned up. We took this as an opportunity to leave the resort and go on adventures. The resort helped set those up. I loved the jungle setting! Beautiful and full of little critters. The live entertainment each night was a lot of fun, even for us over 40 couple! They make it very romantic at the resort. We had a great time and made lasting memories. We would go back, for sure!

Excellent customer service, the entertainment team was amazing! Abram, Eddie,Diego and Tita! Nice food selection and drinks, great evening events. Highly recommended. Will be back.

The property was beautiful. The staff was so nice and helpful. The only complaint I have is that our room started to smell like sewage the last 2 days there.

Property staff was pleasant and very helpful and friendly. I booked this for our 1 year anniversary and the staff decided to make a sweet gesture by decorating our rooms with hearts. The location was always clean and very convenient access to the beach. Only negative is the all-inclusive drinks are bad but that's what you'd expect from places like that.

The property was a little disappointing. The layout was to spread out for you to really enjoy it. While I love the digital age, not having a physical indicator or reference point to find my room, the location of the restaurants, etc. No good views of the beach unless you were at the pool or dining near the beach. Food options are to limited, and it was very confusing to understand the difference between Privileged and Exclusive was truly unclear. And who thought it was a good idea to serve sushi outside under the stars. This is not some place I can say I would love to return to, if I had the option.

The animation team truly made our stay unforgettable! Edgar, Abraham, and Diego were so entertaining, friendly, and full of energy. They went above and beyond to keep everyone engaged and having a great time. You can really tell they love what they do it made such a difference in our experience. So much fun and so many laughs!
