Beds were not that comfortable and the state of the hotel was run down but it was clean enough to stay for one night

I love to stay here when visiting Stanford U. It's simple and close to campus and fairly priced. Not fancy but clean and just what I need. If you want something upscale, there are other big chain hotel options - leave this place for me! The family that owns the hotel is always gracious and accommodating, if I have a bag that needs to be stowed before I head to the airport, or if I need to check in a little early. It's great to support a family business instead of a faceless conglomerate corporation.

The bed was very very hard!

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and clean everything in the room was. The hotel is fairly old, but it's well-maintained and taken care with love and care. Considering the low cost, it was a great bargain. I had a wonderful stay and will stay here again when I'm in the area.

Excellent

The room had exposed electrical wiring which was a life safety hazard, it also had water damage which caused alot of he plaster and paint on the way to crack andbpeel away. The inside doos handle kept coming off which would have made it difficult to exit the room in an emergency.

I don’t appreciate a check-in kiosk

Simple but great place to stay, not far from the center of Palo Alto, with very kind staff!

Management and staff were very easy to work with and the kiosk availability was awesome and efficient!

Clean and reasonably priced compared to other lodging in the area. Will stay here again.

It was AWFUL. The lobby stunk like a mixture of curry and body odor. And the check-in agent was a video screen of a real person in her pajamas in her bedroom somewhere very cozy... which clearly was not on teh property. Then they want to make me pay for it (we absolutley did not stay, even after complaining of the stench).

Room was just right for our purposes. Good size with everything we could need. Especially loved having 2 luggage stands which you rarely get in even expensive places. Clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Owner was really nice. Very clean. Shower needed tile grout.

Nice place to stay.
