Staff were very kind and gave a better room after we complained bout the 1st one that was small and smelled like fish. Tough location Taxis can’t get there We prefer a quieter location

This is a great property that is in a convenient location. Comparing this property’s breakfast to other Petite Palaces we staid at it was average. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay here and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location but a extremely small room. Buffet breakfest was very limited.

This hotel is a historic 17th century hotel that is well kept with amazing staff and service. Breakfast is delicious and is included. If there is a ding, it’s just that in our room (it could be different with the other rooms) the wall between the bathroom and master bed is made of frosted glass. The downside is if any of my kids need to use the toilet, the lights in the bathroom filters into the masterbedroom.

Petit Palace was an excellent place to stay. It was challenging to find at first but once we knew were it was, it was great. Close to the sites. Balcony doors blocked out the noise. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was abundant. The rooms would benefit from being upgraded but overall, I would stay there again in heartbeat.

Please provide drinking water in the room. There was water only on the first day of staying

The history is amazing and they’ve renovated it very, very well. It’s steps for the Plaza Mayor. The staff are super helpful and if you like breakfast at the hotel, theirs is above average. The shower was really good and I was super prized at the space. Better than another, more well known hotel that we stayed at previously for less money.

Beautiful boutique hotel located within a few walking minutes to Plaza Mayor and other landmarks. The staff was great! Joel and Oxsana were very helpful and very accommodating. The breakfast buffet had a variety of options and plenty of seating for the guests. If you’re visiting Madrid in the near future I highly recommend you stay at this hotel.

The staff was welcoming and very accommodating. A special shout out to Mari in charge of breakfast buffet. The location of hotel is perfect especially for first time visitors, except for EXTREMELY noisy. The hotel common areas are very neglected. Ripped “leather” couches in lobby, damaged and dirty baseboards, ripped carpets in hallways, scuff marks and damage on walls. Room shower had embedded mold in caulking. Some areas had grime that I was able to remove with a disposable toothbrush. I did this to verify if grime was embedded like in caulking. It wasn’t. Will not stay here again.

The hotel is generally dirty compared to many other places around Europe with similar Expedia ratings. Also, the AC didn’t work, the rooms were tiny, and overall it generally didn’t not feel like a good value for the price paid.
